Hello and welcome to PBreezey's guide for The Division achievement "Last Man Standing"
To unlock this achievement you will need to complete the mission "General Assembly," which is located in the Turtle Bay area and has a minimum recommended level of 28.
NOTE: This mission did not appear on the map for me until I had already completed all of the other story missions. It appeared after I complete the mission "Russian Consulate," but I believe you will need to have completed all other missions for this one to unlock.
This is the final story mission, and by far the hardest in the game. I completed this mission in a group of 3 and it took us an hour and a half to complete; we wiped on the final boss battle 4 times before finally beating him. It is totally[/u ]worth it because we got some great loot, but it is a time consuming mission.
My tips for completing this mission contain some spoilers so I am going to include it all here:
*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***In this mission you have go through 2 mini-boss battles (named elites) before finally getting to fight the leader of the LMB, Charles Bliss. The thing about the battle with Bliss: He is flying around in an attack helicopter and that thing not only takes a lot of damage, it puts out a ton of damage (hence why we wiped 4 times). There are turrets that you can activate that will attack Bliss's chopper, but he will each of take them out after a couple of seconds leaving you and your team against Bliss with just your regular weapons. To make matters worse, there are waves of regular AI enemies that also spawn to attack you which make reviving your allies much more difficult. How we did it: When you enter the courtyard and go down the stairs, there is a fenced in area with two medical tents behind it. First, go to each turret and activate it to get some decent damage in on Bliss. Once he has destroyed all the turrets, our entire team returned to the chained in area. There was plenty of space to dodge Bliss's machine gun and rockets, as well as plenty of cover to hide behind the enemy AI coming at you. Once you have eliminated all of Bliss's armor (the white bars above his health) he will begin to fly lower to the ground. When he does this, you can safely shoot just over the top of the chain fence you are behind without taking any return damage (at least we didn't). Using this method, we were finally able to take out Bliss on our 4th attempt.
I am also going to include the following video in case you want a better idea of how the final fight works, and maybe to pick up some strategy. I did not create this video, and all credit for it goes to Generic Gaming:
As with all main story missions I do recommend doing this with friends (or strangers) because: 1. It is always more fun with friends and 2. It will help you work on:
