WARNING This achievement is glitched. It really seems to be luck of the draw whether or not it will unlock for you upon equipping your mods. I will keep this updated with new info as it becomes available. Update 3/19/2016: User Re1easeDaBeast confirmed that though the achievement was glitched for him, he was able to start a new character and unlock the achievement on the new character.

UPDATE 8/24/2017 It appears based on the comments of two TA members that this achievement may FINALLY be patched. If you previously were unable to unlock this achievement, try going back into the game and equipping some different mods for your skills again and see if it pops for you.

Hello and welcome to PBreezey's guide for The Division Achievement "Skillz"

This achievement requires you to equip 10 different modifications for your skills. Your skills and their modifications are under Abilities and appear as follows:
    External image
I underlined the word equip earlier because that's all you need to do for this achievement: equip them. You don't need to use 10 different modifications, only equip them. So, once you have 10 modifications unlocked, just go to your skills equip each mod (highlight the skill and press cn_X) once and BING! Achievement is yours.

How do you unlock modifications? Modifications are unlocked by upgrading the three different wings on your home base: Medical, Tech and Security. Each wing has three skills associated with it, and therefore three upgrades to give each of it's skills modifications. You also must have unlocked each skill before you have access to it's modification upgrade. Each upgrade to give you access to modifications cost 400 of that units supplies. The upgrades are:
    - Medical Wing: Quarantine, Intensive Care, Hazmat Unit
    - Tech Wing: Generators, Water Purification, Field Engineering
    - Security Wing: Dark Zone Ops, Supply Line, Gunsmith
Since each upgrade gives you access to 3 mods, and we need to equip 10 mods, math tells us we will need to unlock 4 upgrades to earn this achievement. Math again tells us that means we will need 1600 supplies split among the 3 wings to unlock these upgrades. Supplies are earned by completing main missions (500 supply reward) and encounters (60 supply reward). Earn enough supplies, unlock the upgrades, equip your mods and the achievements is yours! Simple? Right?!

If you have any questions or comments please let me know. If you're going to downvote, please comment first and give me a chance to improve whatever issue you may have.

    Good luck and happy hunting!

*UPDATE* 3/10/2016: This achievement seems to be bugged for some players. I do not know what is causing the bug as of now, but will continue to monitor for news/updates regarding any known bugs. In the meantime, I guess we will wait for a patch.

Warboy925I have a weird question (kinda related/ not related to this solution).....

I really loved using the turret, kept at least one guy off me while I handled the others and lasted awhile too until.......I put the Active Sensor mod on it, or any of the mods on it ( I thought Zapper was useless)...now, it get shredded really quickly!! I can under stand the Zapper due to having only 1,430 - 1,590 HP, but the other 3 are 3,217 - 3,578 HP, is something off? Because I even tested it on lower leveled AI, same thing....

Update: I figured it out, I made a superior backpack which added 1,000 skill power, now it just mows though lvl 13 thugs, while before, they easily killed off my turret ...I feel kinda stupid now, lol

A skill mod can be unlocked by upgrading sections of your base of operations. for example, if you get the dark zone ops upgrade in security you unlock the 3 mods for the ballistic shield. you then need to just equip them each once by going to abilities, going to that ability and pressing cn_X to get to mods. Each upgrade that unlocks them will have 3 mods each, so you will need to buy 4 total.

HicksterYou can make a new character to get it to unlock if it glitched on you. I did this and it took about 3.5 hours to get to the point where I had enough mods to equip. See comments in the other solution for more details
