How to unlock the Bling! Bling! achievement

Hello and welcome to PBreezey's guide for The Division achievement "Bling! Bling!"

For this achievement, you must equip all of your gear slots with Superior (Purple) or High-end (Yellow) items. SO, first of all, there are 9 gear slots:
    - Primary Weapon
    - Secondary Weapon
    - Sidearm
    - Vest
    - Mask
    - Knee-pads
    - Pack
    - Gloves
    - Holster
Therefore, you are going to need a minimum of 9 Superior or High-end items to complete this achievement. (Thanks to CompellingGamer and EJHOCKEYFAN for initial confirmation that Superior+ weapons are required).

Second, acquiring the gear. While there is nothing wrong with xTGE's recommendation of farming named elites and the Dark Zone at level 25+, I believe the achievement can be accomplished way before level 25. For instance, the gear vendor started stocking Superior items when I was level 14-15. Additionally, by completing quests and missions I unlocked crafting patterns so that I could craft Superior items again around level 14-15. As of writing this guide, I have 3 of my 6 gear slots filled with Superior items and am only level 16. So, with enough credits and crafting materials/patterns I should be able to unlock all of the Superior or High-end items I need. Therefore, I am confident that I and you have the ability to unlock this achievement prior to level 25+.

Lastly, make sure you don't sell or deconstruct any Superior or High-end items prior to unlocking this achievement. This might sound like common sense, but warrants reminding. Just because an item is Superior or High-end doesn't mean you won't eventually come across better items of a lower rarity, but make sure you hang on to the higher rarity items until you get the achievement. Use your Stash! It's why it's there. Tuck the items away in your Stash until you have enough Superior or High-end items to fill all of your Gear slots and unlock your achievement. Your Stash is where you retrieve items extracted from the Dark Zone, in case you were wondering.

*UPDATE* 3/16/2016: User mcnichoj made a good point. The vendors in the Safe Houses and your Base of Operations all carry different gear from one another. So, if there is a specific piece you seem to be missing it may be worth your time to fast travel around to the safe houses and see if one of the vendors has the gear you need.

If you have any questions or comments please let me know. If you're going to downvote, please comment first and give me a chance to improve whatever issue you may have.

    Good luck and happy hunting!

XxB3asti3xXWhen this unlocked for me I did not even have a superior mask equipped although I did have one at one point before. I did have several superior weapon mods equipped so maybe the game just counts the number of items and not what they are.

Warboy925I don't know if everyone's game is different, but I got a purple backpack blueprint just for doing an easy "Return to Safehouse" side mission

The easiest way to obtain this achievement is to rank up to level 30 first as more rare gear drops the higher level you are.
This is because at low level Purple and Gold items dont drop at all in fact you cannot get purple until Around Rank 16* (and even then it is very rare)
*If you want to rank up quickly complete all the main story missions as they give the most XP after that do the the "side missions" .
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Once you reach rank 30 you can get Superior (Purple) or High-end (Yellow) items from either the Dark Zone or daily missions.

This video will show you how to do daily missions but just keep in mind that you need a Superior (Purple) or High-end (Yellow) item in all slots (Except MODS)
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    The items you need include

    --- Primary Gun ---
    --- Secondary Gun ---
    --- Sidearm Gun ---
    --- Knee-pads ---
    --- Pack ---
    --- Gloves ---
    --- Holster ---
    --- Vest ----
    --- Mask ----
    --- Knee Pads ---
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    * On one final note the April update for the game is said to include Item Trading which will presumably make this achievement far easier to get if you are still having trouble (this Update will be free)

Hope this helped everyone out and good luck!

AutogavI am level 30 and DZ 38 and have had superior and high end items for ages. My achievement is sitting at 100% but isn't popping. Any ideas?

GareBear203Seems like a bug only thing I can think off is try to make another character and see if it works for that one.

Superior gear starts dropping around level 25 in the pve zone and can be found mainly on named bosses.

High end gear is the exact same expect can be found after hitting level 30.

A fast way to do this is to get to level 30 then enter the dark zone and farm away. You will find superior items galore and maybe some high end weapons if you're lucky due to the enemy being level 30-33 and have a much higher chance of dropping them.

Once you find the items you need just equip them. You can also seek items that you've already got the superior or high end versions of and buy from vendors what you're missing buy selling what you don't need.
