How to unlock the Master Craftsman achievement

Hello and welcome to PBreezey's achievement guide for the solution "Master Craftsman"

UPDATE 9/12/2017: It appears that with patch 1.7 the devs have made this achievement more difficult to obtain. You must now craft a high-end item - crafting materials as instructed in my original guide seems to no longer work. The way you craft, gather materials, etc. is all still good from my guide below - however, you must now craft an actual item and not just a high end crafting material.

UPDATE 01/02/2019: Elements of my guide may no longer be helpful or correct given changes that have been made to the game. I no longer have The Division and am therefore not able to play back through the game and see the changes that have been made to the game to provide an up to date solution. If anyone is willing to share new details in the comments below, I would be happy to update my guide as needed and will provide all editorial credit; or, feel free to make a new solution - won't hurt my feelings!

This achievement requires you to craft one "High-end" item. High-end items are yellow/gold and the items I suggest you craft even tell you that they are high end items:

As you can see, you have access to crafting "High-end" materials very early in the game. Each High-end material requires you to have 5 of the Specialized (Blue) materials in your inventory. So if you have 5 Specialized Weapon Parts or Tools, the achievement is yours!

If you don't have the necessary materials, you just need to find them. There are light gray shaded areas all across Manhattan that provide you with crafting materials, ranging in rarity and quantity. Alternatively, you can obtain materials by deconstructing unwanted items in your inventory by marking them as junk with cn_LT and then holding down cn_LSc until they are deconstructed. Once you have 5 Specialized of the same material, go get your achievement!

If you have any questions or comments please let me know. If you're going to downvote, please comment first and give me a chance to improve whatever issue you may have.

    Good luck and happy hunting!

zDrUnKeNMoNkEyzEven with that, my map looks like some through paint at the map. Like i understand and like collectibles when done right. This just seems like complete time wasting filler. Probably the worst ive ever personally experienced.

NevversFollowing a comment from TheGillesMuller in the forums, i can confirm that this achievement doesn't seem to pop using the crafting station near the special blueprint vender, you have to buy a high end item blueprint from him and then craft it upstairs in the base of operations main area. Thats when the achievement popped for me...
    Hope this helps.

I found that you can only do this cheevo Once your agent reaches level 30, head to your base of operations, once there... head pass the stairs that leads towards the tech wing and down the terminal's stair case or open your map and fast travel there via the arrow[Terminal] which is next to base of operations...
which ever way you prefer... go to Special Blueprints Vendor next to underground dlc route and buy a high-end blueprint with phoenix coins - choose item and not kits. If you broke down weapons and items for the deconstructing achievement and you never constructed anything, you should have more than enough to do a material conversion if you already do have a few, from your daily running and fighting, looting, etc, etc... [following PBreezey and a Fi1thy Casual's Guides] then happy crafting, which also should help getting the crafting cheevo.
    regarding Division Tech:
    Division Tech - 5 Green = 1 Blue and
    5 Blue = 1 Yellow
and yellow division tech is 3 = 1 [whichever you crafting]
    Regarding Material -
    10 Green = 1 Blue and
    15 Blue = 1 Yellow

    Hopefully this will help!

DarthRandalNCWorked a charm for me, thanks. You'd think exotic crafted items would count as well but they don't.

XtowersIt popped fine for me at the crafting station near the special blueprints vendor. Although it was a very delayed pop.

This can be completed at any point in the game. An easy way to do this early on is to break down any low level items you acquire into parts. Then take those parts to the crafting station to make specialized parts and finally make those specialized parts into a high end part. This method does not require any blueprints, which is why it can be completed early on.

NuttySandman123Maybe they patched it but it takes 10 parts to make a specialised one and 15 of them to make a high end one 🙁
