Some of the collectibles have changed from the original (aka switched to a new location), so I have made a new video for the Definitive Edition.

There are a total of 15 Energy Cells, 12 Life Cells, 33 Ability Cells, 12 Spirit Wells, and 9 Map Stones in the game. There are 45 Secret Areas.

Below is a video showing every Life/Energy/Ability cell in the game, as well as all Secret Areas, in chronological order according to the earliest you can obtain them. I suggest waiting until you have Stomp to go to Black Root Burrow as you need it to access the lower area. After getting all 12 Life Cells, you'll unlock this achievement.

For those that wanted just the Health Cells (life cells...):

Wally17This is bugged for me. I've collected all collectibles and have 100% on my save. I have the secret areas achievement unlocked. I'm 12/12 on the health cells and 15/15 on the energy cells, but I the achievement won't unlock.

iTz Canada EhhSame thing happened to me. What I learned from other games this happened to me with is to delete your save from everywhere (to do this, need to specifically select your save data and select delete from everywhere, not delete from console or the delete all option you see when you select manage game and add ons) and uninstall/reinstall the game. Played through on my speed run and popped this one and my glitched spirit well achievement after meeting the requirements again.
