How to unlock the Covenant: Blade of the Darkmoon achievement

    In order to earn this achievement, you must talk to Company Captain Yorshka in Anor Londo. You can reach her by taking an invisible path near the Anor Londo bonfire :
    You must have the Darkmoon Loyalty gesture in order to be invited to join the covenant. Sirris of the Sunless Realms gives this gesture to you the second time you meet her in Firelink Shrine (after returning the Dreamchaser's Ashes to the Handmaid). She appears initially after meeting Anri and Horace in Crucifixion Woods.

    Without the gesture, your only other option is to kill Yorshka, causing her to drop the Blade of the Darkmoon covenant item which will unlock the achievement.

    AP 8T8Couldn't figure out how to speak to her so I killed her and she dropped the covenant item, unlocking the achievement.

    InfernobladeI think joining might have something to do with Sirris and her teaching you the "Darkmoon Loyalty" gesture. I'm not entirely sure though as I didn't learn that gesture until after I killed Yorshka for the covenant item.

    TheBigBBAchievement is currently broken. Tried twice by deleting my save file and getting the darkmoon item from her twice, and it won't unlock. Hate hate hate hate decades of Xbox and devs can not make these things work.

    True Marvellous@TheBigBB Xbox Live is currently having achievement issues, this initially wouldn't pop for me but anout an hour later it did together with a boss achievement i should have got 24 hours prior so hopefully yours will pop in time.

    John MolliteThe achievement is indeed bugged and the usual methods (power cycle, uninstall/reinstall) didn't worked for me.
    Turns out the game rescans for the covenant items when you start a new game cycle, because at that moment i finally got the achievement.
    So at least there are chances to get the achievement later if it doesn't unlock when it is supposed to.
