Books cost 500 gems each so you will need 2500 to unlock 5. To unlock the ability to purchase books you have to keep progressing through the games levels. The first 3 books will be available early in the game. Sometime around level 10-15 you will gain 5 more books in the store to buy. To get to the games store hit
