To unlock this achievement you'll have to beat all 285 levels. Upon unlocking this achievement you'll have access to the Summer Levels for free. (as of the September 2016 update).

Be prepared for a long grind due to a limit of 5 lives and the time delay in regenerating lives over time (30 mins each) unless you have luck and are consistently wining levels (in which case the lives lost will regenerate while you play).

Before the September 2016 update I was able to dashboard out of the game a few times or play a few rounds of "multiplayer" levels and eventually I'd cheat the time delay and get a new set of five lives. That is no longer the case.

There are a couple of tips we've accumulated over time in this solution and via TA mail that I'll share here:

1. SAVING YOUR LIVES TO CONTINUE PLAYING -FOR FREE-:
If you dashboard after failing a level it does not take away a Life -heart- (Thanks Mr Rodster). By doing this at the end of every level that you fail to win (especially if this is your last life and you don't want to wait for 30 more minutes to gain another heart AND/OR you don't want to pay for another -which is a joke).

If you go to the in-game Store:
MORE LIVES:
5 = $0.99
32 = $4.99
70 = $9.99

2. SAVING YOUR HARD EARNED POWER-UPS -FOR FREE-:
If by the time the level ends and you do NOT win, dashboard out of the game. By doing this you will save all of your spent power-ups, ice picks, etc. What you are doing is essentially avoiding saving your progress.

This is key. STOP AND DASHBOARD if you are close to the end of the level or at the end of the level and you want to keep what power-ups, etc that you worked hard to earn.

BY DOING THIS YOU WILL BYPASS SAVING YOUR PROGRESS AND THEREFORE SAVING YOUR HARD EARNED POWER-UPS, LIVES, ETC.

3. GAINING DAILY REWARDS (ADDITIONAL LIVES, MORE POWER-UPS, ETC) -FOR FREE-:
Daily rewards are hit and miss.
If -for example today- you start the game and do not get the rewards:
Dashboard out of the game and restart the game over and over again until you get it. It will take multiple tries but it works.

The Daily Rewards ARE sporadic. SOMETIMES THE REWARDS WILL WORK, SOMETIMES IT WILL NOT WORK AT ALL*.
*As of this update July 12 2017, there have been NO rewards for the last 3 weeks. See comments below.

Keep in mind that this game isn't broken. It's designed to be a money generating machine and nothing more. Keep working on getting stars and keep working on the rewards. You'll eventually get them.

ADDENDUM: "You don't need to dashboard. You can just hit B to back out and then come right back in." (Thanks Mr Rodster)

4. PURCHASING MORE LIVES, POWER UPS, ETC -WITH REAL MONEY-:
Let's be honest here: The game's difficulty is designed and based to support micro-transactions. The sole purpose of this game isn't to entertain you but to milk you for your hard earned cash. This is NOT a child's game (contrare to popular belief).

That being said, there will be moments that the difficulty will be so great that it will take multiple times for you to finally pass a level. You will inevitally encounter that one level that the only way to pass it will be to have an abundance of power-ups, ice picks, hourglasses and snowballs.

I had seen myself desperate enough to consider paying real cash for these items. If you have the cash and are deperate enough to actually pay real money for these items, then the in-game Store is for you.

The following is an example listing (samplying anyone) of what's in the store:

FLURRY: $4.99
10 Lives (hearts)
1 Ice Pick
1 Power-Up
1 Snowball (5 additional moves)
1 Hourglass (15 additional seconds)

SQUALL: $19.99
20 Lives (hearts)
8 Ice Picks
8 Power-Ups
11 Snowballs (5 additional moves)
3 Hourglasses (15 additional seconds)

BLIZZARD: $29.99
30 Lives (hearts)
12 Ice Picks
12 Power-Ups
22 Snowballs (5 additional moves)
7 Hourglasses (15 additional seconds)

AVALANCHE: $49.99
75 Lives (hearts)
30 Ice Picks
30 Power-Ups
33 Snowballs (5 additional moves)
9 Hourglasses (15 additional seconds)
(according to the in-game tag: "BEST VALUE")

You can also purchase power-ups, snowballs, lives, ice picks, hourglasses and the other in-game characters.
These characters are tied into another achievement:

RECAP (An email exchange between myself and Siphon Filther)

SIPHON FILTHER: I was interested in your comment about quitting before losing after using the power-ups... You say that if you use a power up and you don't allow the game to save the defeat, but you just dashboard you can keep all the power ups. Can you 100% confirm that?

DACIUS DECIUM: I can confirm this 100%. I do it all the time. As for level 267 I finally beat it using this method.

I accumulated 2 power ups and 2 ice picks. Eventually I started experimenting with quiting (dashboarding) before or once I had lost (as in do NOT press any other buttons once you've lost). Dashboard out and restart the game and proceed as normal.

Do you want to confirm that you saved your power ups etc? No problem. Once in the game, press the START button on your controller, go to STORE, and you'll see at a glance (on the top icons displayed under "Select an item, ya?") what power ups, hearts, etc that you have.

I dashboard for primarly two reasons:
1. To save my last heart so I don't have to wait every 30 minutes to generate a new heart to continue
2. To save my hard earned power ups that I've got for free in the game via the servers OR when you accumulate x amount of stars.

If after you win/lose a level and you continue the game, it will save your progress (and by extension save your current status of power ups etc in your current inventory).

What I cannot confirm yet is this trick (dashboarding) will work on saving Hourglasses and Snowballs (I haven't experimented on that yet because I don't have any). But one of these days I'll work on one of the wolf levels (levels 98-105) and eventually confirm this as well.
