To get to the Tutorials simply click "New Game" followed by "Tutorials"

Tasks are outlined by RED exclamation marks. Interact with these with cn_B

    You will be tasked with:

Camera Controls: Done using cn_LS as well as cn_RT + cn_RS

Selecting a Building: Zoom in on a bulding and click cn_A

Selecting a Citizen: Zoom in on a person and click cn_X

Increasing the Game Speed: Done using cn_right

Connect the Mine: If you're facing the island from the water, the Mine is on the left wall.
Press cn_Y to bring up the build menu. cn_LB twice (You should be in the "Infrastructure" tab). Hold cn_LSdl until you're over "Road". Simply select it with cn_A, outline your road, then place it down with cn_A

Export Iron: The easiest way to do this is to select your mine with cn_A. Once in the buildings menu, use cn_right to set the budget to $120 or 5 piles of money (This ensures the mine is producing at maximum capacity).
Now go to the shoreline and select the dock using cn_A and set the budget to $40 (the highest possible). Once out of the Docks menu, use cn_right to fast forward.
You will get this goal within 1 or 2 exports.

Build a Catholic Mission: Press cn_Y to bring up your build menu. cn_RB all the way to "Welfare and Media" and use cn_LSul + cn_A to select the Catholic Mission. Press cn_A again to place the Catholic mission. Press cn_A one last time on the Catholic Mission, scroll down to "Quick Build" and select it.

First Part is now done (Going to now assume you can pull open the build menu as well as individual buildings settings)

Build a Library: Found in the build menu, in the "Research & Education" tab top left. Place this as this contains your next task.

Hire Library Workers: This section will ask you to invite "Foreign workers". This is in option 2 lines below your buildings budget. Essentially these are workers you can pay to come and work for a business when you have no available workforce.

Research Planks: You have a library, therefore you are producing research points. This is important as if you press cn_LT + cn_A you'll notice the extensive list. For the tutorial you simply have to select "Planks". It's located in the middle of the bottom row on the first page of research. While you are here, select Paper and Constitution as well. Just make sure they're after Planks

Exploration: While your planks are being researched you can go and explore. This is important as you cannot build in foggy areas. If you select the palace, you'll notice there's an option to explore for $1,000 at the bottom of the first page. Send these guys anywhere in the fog and you'll pass this.

Build Logging Camp: This will pop up over the palace as your exploration squad is out and about. This building is found in the top right of the "Raw Resources" tab in the build menu. When you go to place this building you will notice a grid appears. You are aiming for the most Green in an area. This shows the area is proper for logging (or whatever you're growing/raising)

Building Permit: This is an edict. These can be easily accessed by pressing cn_LT + cn_B. The building permit is in the bottom left corner of the "General Tab"

Swiss Bank: This will appear after you issue the building permit edict. Build 3-4 country houses in the top left of the "Residential" tab in the build menu. If this doesn't immediately finish this task, ignore it as you will get it over time.

Build Lumber Mill: Found in the top left of the "Industry (Goods)" tab of the build menu. Ideally you want to build this and the logging camp close together as they work together. (I quick build most buildings in tutorial)

Teamster Budget: Remember when we had to export Iron? It's the same idea. Select the teamsters building and on the first page, set their budget to $80 or 5 stacks of cash.

Build a Ranch: I chose to set up a cattle ranch off towards the Iron mine. The ranch is in the top left of the "Raw Resources" tab in the build menu. Again, I quick built this.

Trade Planks with USA: This is a pretty easy yet often overlooked part of the game. Your docks work automatically so you do not think about it, but if you click on your dock and open up the first page. You'll notice that at the bottom it says "Trade". When you click on this a list of countries with wants and needs pops up. Simply find where the USA needs to import planks and help them out. (The task counts as completed without the trade route being complete)

Manager - Lumber Mill: To round out this section we have an easy one. Just select the lumber mill and on the first page click manager. The game gives a list of people that all have a different trait. For the tutorial this does not matter, but in other modes I would pay close attention to managers. (Most buildings can have managers)

    Second part is now done

Almanac - Politics: You can reach this section by pressing cn_LT + cn_X. There will be several menu tabs. Find the "Politics" tab. I clicked on popular support to bring up the list of citizens. (I ended up completing the first two tasks. I will have to play it again and try to get them individually)

Guard Towers: These are a great idea if you have unpopular support. You must build two of these, and I recommend building them directly next to your palace. The guard tower is located in the top left corner of the "Military" tab in the build menu.

Popular Support: At this point I was at a whopping 6% of people approving of me. I quickly fixed this by adding a couple of plantations where the game placed the lumber mill. I grew predominately bananas and changed the crops to local consumption (When you select the plantation it is at the bottom of the first page. It provides citizens with more food and happiness). My homeless population was also a huge blow, so I built a cul-de-sac of about 10 country houses. Within a couple mins I was at 70% approval.

World Wars: Simply select the task icon over your palace and choose to advance into the "World War Era" for $20,000 in debt.

Build an Embassy: Open up the build menu and cn_RB over to the "Economy & Foreign Relations" tab. It will be along the top. Select it, place it, quick build it.

Invite a Foreign Power: Now that you have an embassy, you can increase or decrease foreign relations and even invite a foreign power like the task says. You can do this by selecting the embassy, and in the first page it allows you to choose Axis or Allies (World War Era). Select whichever and move on.

Repay the Debt: You do this through the sovereign debt edict. Press cn_LT + cn_B. Move to the "World Wars" tab and you'll see it in the top left hand corner. Select it and issue $20,000 in bonds. At this point I was able to buy the bonds back and complete the task.

Receive Foreign Aid: You may have noticed this show up after you invited a foreign power. Honestly just ignore it, as you will automatically receive aid from the Axis or Allies, whichever you chose. If you're impatient just fast forward.

Win the Election: This is a big one as if you fail this task you fail the tutorial, much like you would fail the game in other modes. The best way to ensure you win is through citizen happiness. This can be brought up with cn_LT + cn_X. It is the second tab from the top. From here you can see where you;re lacking (i.e. my liberty was only 16. This was easily fixed by creating more catholic missions). If you are worried you will lose the election just commit election fraud. I have played this game on 3 different platforms and each time I won, even when I was fighting off coupes and uprisings.

Almanac - Happiness: If you followed what I mentioned above you will have already gotten this task completed. "This can be brought up with cn_LT + cn_X. It is the second tab from the top."

Entertainment Happiness: The game will have you build a taver. If for whatever reason that does not complete the task, simply build another down the street.

Draft the Constitution: This is done by pressing cn_RT + cn_X. Select voting right with cn_A and change something. Scroll down to Religion and State as well as Armed Forces and do the same. When you are finished press cn_X.

The rest of the tutorial should be you winning the election. Just keep checking your happniess page in the almanac and you should be fine. Local consumption of plantation and ranches helps in food surplus. Restaurants and taverns aid in entertainment. Missions significantly increase your liberty. Try to keep your residential section near your entertainment buildings and churches. I also recommend bumping the budget on every business you build throughout the game. You will increase GDP considerably.

I finished with 23 country houses, 1 resturant, 2 taverns, 5 Plantations, 2 Ranches and the 1 Catholic Mission. I won with 56% of the votes.
