    If you follow the typical storyline you will get this by the time you get to the third or fourth unlocked area. If I'd saved my money earlier, you could probably get it earlier.

    After you buy the Assault Rifle, you will have the option to upgrade it. I believe the total upgrade costs a little under 5,000, but I got the achievement first, then looked at what it was for.

    DeathDealingCatIt appears this is only for campaign weapons. I fully upgraded a weapon in Resistance Mode but didn't get the cheevo.

    Ninjitsu Bananaonly works in campaign, and is about $6000 I believe, for the assault rifle. $6500 for the LMG, and somewhere in between for every weapon or variant.

    Just a note for gathering money for weapons, attachments, and gear ( as you might want to fully loadout on gear to help beat the game ) look for white containers (like the containers with motorcycle stashes) many of these have locks on them you can cut. In these containers are 10-16 monitors/computers/hard drives. Easy money makers without risking combat. They can be just on the ground or attached to a semi truck.
