How to unlock the Certifiable achievement

To earn this achievement you need to rank up a certified item three times so it says "Veteran." The requirements of each item are random, but the first issue will be finding a certified item. They will only drop from an online public or competitive mode. Private matches and exhibition cannot be farmed like other achievements that require specific items. The drop rate is quite low so it can take a long time to get one, or just trade for one with another player. The item will say "Certified" directly below the rarity level.

Once you have the item go to your garage and see what you have to do. Possible requirements are:

    Capable - Skillful - Veteran

    50 - 100 - 200 - - Centering - - Hit the ball in front of the other team's goal.
    50 - 100 - 200 - - Clear Balls - - Hitting the ball out of the area around your goal.
    50 - 100 - 200 - - Shots on Goal - - Hitting the ball at your opponents goal.
    25 - 50 - 100 - - Goals - - Score the ball.
    25 - 50 - 100 - - Aerial Goals - - Score from a hit above the height of the goal.
    25 - 50 - 100 - - Longshot Goals - - Goals from your side of the field.
    25 - 50 - 100 - - Backwards Goals - - Score while driving in reverse, or with your rear bumper.
    25 - 50 - 100 - - Turtle Goals - - Score from a hit while upside down.
    25 - 50 - 100 - - Bicycle Goals - - Bicycle hit (cn_A, cn_A + cn_LS back) for a goal.
    25 - 50 - 100 - - Assists - - Hit the ball with a teammate scoring on the next hit.
    25 - 50 - 100 - - Saves - - Blocking a ball from going in your goal.
    25 - 50 - 100 - - Epic Saves - - Block the ball when part of it is in the goal.
    25 - 50 - 100 - - Juggles - - Hit the ball multiple times in a row without it touching the ground.
    10 - 25 - 50 - - Wins
    10 - 25 - 50 - - MVP - - Be the highest scoring player.

Just like the requirements for getting one of these, all tasks must be completed in an online public or competitive mode. Dwaggienite listed a good way to match up with a friend in 1v1 to boost these.

Easy to match with each other if you look at the server name. It'll be:

    ABC = Region = E.g. USW = U.S. West.
    ### - Numbers - up to 5 numbers.
Servername - The name of the server being connected to.

You'll only see this for three seconds so be very careful when attempting to connect to a friend.
If you want to go the long way, I would suggest using Doubles for earning most of these. A good teammate can help you get the shots on goal, goals and wins easier than the other modes. For defensive requirements like saves and clear balls you'll have more opportunities in solo, but it may not be easier than doubles. Everyone has a different play-style so test what works for you.

You can track your progress by going into the garage and viewing the item. The achievement tracker goes up by 33% each time you level it up. If you get one that is going to be practically impossible to pull off then just keep playing and hope for another or trade with someone. You can have more than one at a time so it's just a matter of time before another drops.

There was a shortcut that worked for a while that seems to be patched. I've left it below in a spoiler for anyone that wants to try anyway.

Too many people have helped to list them all, but thanks to everyone in the comments for the numbers and ideas to improve this! Special thanks to QwertY TurkeY for providing links to complete the list.

A Rabid MeerkatYou can trade certified items but they will lose their level, so trading a Veteran item will be of no use

Tostie14Last night I got this by attempting to receive a Veteran Certified item from a friend in a trade. He proposed a trade and I accepted, but before he even confirmed it, the achievement popped and we could just cancel the proposed trade. So you don't even need to actually go through with the trade, just have it proposed and the recipient only mark the trade as ready.

The main guide is a good one, but the one thing it mentions is it must be done in online casual or competitive matches. This is not true with one MAJOR caveat.

You can boost this via Tournaments but you MUST complete the requirements in a single game session. In other words, the count will rise when your in the tournament games and you’ll see the count rising on the item in your garage, however once you leave the game (Rocket League not the tournament game) and reopen it the progress will reset to what it was prior.

I setup a 2v2 tournament with a secondary account since I was doing that for some of the other achievements anyway and noticed the count rising on my Centering item and then that it reset when I came back the next day. So as a test I setup another tournament with 20 minute games and completed 70 centers in the first and 80 in second and popped the achievement. My garage said I had 230 centers, I left the game and game back and it had reset back to 70.

So in short, you can boost this but you just need to plan for all the requirements in a single session. The count adds to your item at the end of the game so you won’t pop mid game, you must wait til the match results screen and then it will pop assuming you’ve met the requirements.
