You can grind the coins the legit way, but here's a quicker method if you do not mind messing a bit with cloud saves. Please do not negative vote just because it tricks the system. Constructive criticism always welcome:

Ian 1485(See my comment on All Powered Up). Started again with playing the game normally. Worked up enough coin to upgrade Laser. Tracker started to move. Worked up enough coin to upgrade Freeze. Achievement unlocked.

Flying Walrus 8I've contacted Bandai Namco Support, to which I was informed the game is no longer being supported, so if you discover a fix method that will unlock this achievement detail it in the comments so we can get this game 100% for everyone that is still working on doing so. Method suggested by Ian 1485 I will try next and update if it unlocks it for me.

Flying Walrus 8Used method suggested by Ian 1485, deleted save data, then loaded game when xbox was offline (can only do this if you own the game and your console is set as your home xbox). Game started a new save, went back online and this achievement popped after fully upgrading another two powerups pushing progress bar from the bugged 90% to 100%.

The video was unclear for me so I asked a friend and he replied with an amazing written guide!

This was written by Mr Rodster and the glitch was found by Manic Ado I take no credit for any of it.

    OK, so here's the deal.

You can do the glitch at any time. You can't fuck it up.

First step is to choose a bonus and get it to 7. It does not matter which one you choose.

Second step is to earn 2048 coins but do not spend them.

Third step is to get it to where the number of dots you need to get the next bonus is small. Don't go over, because if you do you'll have to earn thousands of dots for the next bonus.

When all the above is accomplished, force quit the game. This saves to the cloud. Then start up the game and buy the upgrade from 7 to 8. That progresses the "upgrade all" achievement--the bar should move. Then play the game and get the dots needed for the next bonus. That progresses the "get all bonuses" achievement and again the bar should move.

Now, go to Manage Game and delete the local save twice.

Then start the game again. (In the video he goes back to the dashboard, but this is unnecessary. You can start directly from the Manage Game screen.) Repeat the purchase and the play, then delete, then repeat until you have the achievement.

Note: you can also use this technique for the missions. Complete a mission in-game, then get to the end screen but do not redeem the prize. Force quit. Delete the save (twice) and restart, play a short game where you die, and then redeem the prize. Watch the progress bar: after it goes up, delete the save and repeat.

The only challenging/time-consuming achievement given the above is the 16x ghost chain.

copeknightThis worked great when I figured it out. I had all achievements but the update all power-ups. The key is to force quit just once. I wasn't doing that at first. Get to above 2,048 coins. Force quit. Reload. Buy the upgrade to level 8. Delete save game within the game. (I don't get delete twice; that was never even an option.) Deleting the same without force quitting dumps you back to dashboard. Then repeat. Do nothing that causes the game to save during this process. (I was halfway done when I pushed the wrong button and started a game which meant I had to collect coins again, but everything I had done had still registered toward the achievement progress.)
I appreciated this text version very much!
