How to unlock the Flower achievement

    You need to find 16 flowers throughout the game, this video will show you all locations. You can pickup the ones you missed after you complete the main game. Going back to specific points and getting the flowers after you're done, seems very flakey, so the safest bet is to grab them on a play through.

    Victor I3Chapter select worked for me as well. Did what most of ppl said Just select the checkpoint got the flower and after the "secret found" faded I checked again if it appeared and then I'd move to the next checkpoint.

    One Eyed TighI got them all on my first playthrough, but it didn’t pop. Did level select for each one using this video, making sure to wait about ten seconds after collecting each one before moving on. Done. +1

    The above solution by @drpaulb is good and I'm not digging at it, it helped me so thank you to the original maker. However, there are a couple of things mentioned in the comments that I can confirm, and that in my opinion deserves its own solution. The videos by Dr Casual feature no commentary, and although fantastic walkthrough don't explain everything properly for achievement hunters.

    I did not get this on my first play through, and this is because after collecting the collectible I can confirm it will not necessarily "save" it until you reach the next checkpoint. If i died, I did not go back and pick it up. I can confirm that you must go back and pick up your collectible if you die. As soon as you hit a NEW checkpoint, you can THEN consider that collectible saved, but not until this point.

    To conclude, please use the guide above and for the easiest time 1) Do this in one sitting. If played through before, it'll be 2-3 hours max. 2) If you die, go back and re-earn that collectible. If you die and respawn before the collectible you had just earned it will NOT automatically save it.

    Also heard that chapter select works, but do this step and you shouldn't have to do that.

    NoHeroes94I played this game over a year ago, I think there is an autosave symbol? If there isn't just redo the collectible if you die and it puts it back before it. If it puts you after it, it'll be saved.

    Original Video was Deleted by youtube user so i replaced it with a different one by youtube user jago2009

    sjpsjpsjpThis is *the* guide for this awful achievement. Confirmed that you can pick these up through Chapter Select. As a precaution I did pick up a flower then progressed a bit further just to see if a checkpoint would be tripped, but I didn't quit out of the game and that appears to be the primary thing to avoid.
