Marching Into 2017 Challenge achievement For Xbox Fitness

For this Challenge, you need to Earn a new Personal Best on any workout on Xbox Fitness. During a workout that you have COMPLETED, you want to get a better final FitPoint score than your previous score

My suggestion is to find a workout you did in the past that you might not have done so great on and see if you can beat your own score. Alternatively, but a very cheap/easy way of getting this is if you haven't done a certain workout you could essentially don't do as good as you could on it, complete the workout and redo that workout making sure you did a much better job on it.

    # Workouts needed: 1 (2 if you never did the workout)
    Challenge Reward: 2 Stamps

This challenge shouldn't be that hard if you look for workouts you know you can improve on. Enjoy going for this challenge and get some more stamps for those other achievements before Xbox Fitness says goodbye on July 1 2017.

PERSONAL STATEMENT, THANK YOU, & GOODBYE XBOX FITNESS
As I believe this may be my last Xbox Fitness Challenge Achievement guide, I would like to say Thank you to all the people who liked my guides, helped point things out I might have missed, or wrote positive comments! It was a pleasure writing these guides for the Xbox Fitness Player Community on TrueAchievements. I would like to point out I did not get paid for these, I just wanted to make sure these guides were well written and well structured as I have seen some very poorly written guides on TA. I wanted these to be easy to read, have some personality, and point out the most important information that needed to be known.

I know you all worked very hard for some of these challenges as did I. My passion is Fitness and Healthy living along with helping others find their journey to find a better life. Xbox Fitness was a unique experience unlike any other fitness game system with its real-time feedback, heart rate monitor, muscle tracking, and up to date Fitness workouts. Even though some of the workouts were quite costly, what Microsoft and Xbox offered was a first time overall wonderful experience to the gaming community.

Who knows if Xbox will have another version of Xbox Fitness in the future but if not, I strongly suggest all of you find a good local gym and workout with friends or meet some new ones there that have the same passion as you do but you will have a great story to tell them on how you got involved in fitness; by hopping on your Xbox Fitness on your Xbox One using an amazing device called the Kinect and you got to workout out with instant feedback (...when the Kinect worked lol)

I am glad I got to experience this with all of you and I hope it has changed your life for the better as it did mine! Once Xbox Fitness says good-bye for good, remember what you learned from these videos that helped you out and remember your fitness journey doesn't stop there just because there are no more achievements or challenges.. Those experiences helped you get the motivation for working out and possibly a healthier lifestyle and a passion for Fitness. Now your real journey Begins in the real world! :)

Feel free to contact me if you ever need some advice and I will do my best to help you out! :) Good Bye Xbox Fitness you will be missed!

MathGuy42I got a new personal best on a drill, but didn't get the challenge, unlike Medrus. I didn't have time to try a whole workout yet.

A message at the main menu said the challenge was for new personal bests on 5 drills. Maybe that's what needs to be done. But I didn't get any percentage progress on the challenge yet.

    Thanks for the guides.

XtowersAs a fellow challenge fan, I thank you for your dedication to these challenge solutions. I'm going to miss Xbox Fitness as well, and I'm really sad to see it go.

Erik SeidelYou might want to add that this is a relatively easy challenge for a free game, so it is a great opportunity to get:
TrueAchievementsAdvanced ReconThe Advanced Recon achievement in TrueAchievements worth 0 pointsViewed 100 different achievement solutions

for unlocking a challenge while having its solution snapped for everyone that is still on the old dashboard because this achievement will become unobtainable due to the discontinued snap support.

MathGuy42The solution is correct and the PB has to be for a whole workout, not just a drill. However, the challenge will unlock mid-workout, as soon as you reach a new PB score for the whole workout.

So if you are starting with a never-played workout, you can score say 100 points during the first drill, then Skip to End. Then play again. As soon as you go over your old total score, the challenge will unlock. You will have received a new PB for both the drill and the workout, but the challenge is for the workout.

Thanks to Challenge Guru Xtowers for clarifying for me and thanks to Elite Shadow for all the Xbox Fitness guides. Such a shame to see it go. I didn't use it as much as I should have and tricked my way through several achievements, but I did get some real workouts in.

XtowersYep, no need to do an entire workout. As soon as you have a new PB on a workout it will pop, even mid-workout. Starting fresh is very easy.

Elite Shadow 87Thank you all for your added feedback, kind words, and helping out along the way. I know the community was quite small for Xbox Fitness, but it was great having everyone who was involved take part in this Kinect Xbox Fitness Journey!

Apparently, only two people in the entire world, have unlocked ALL 59 Challenge Achievements AND all 31 Achievements for Xbox Fitness. That would be FreshPrince513 and I.

If you read this FreshPrince, you and I got all 90 achievements for Xbox Fitness! Congratulations!! I know exactly how time consuming, costly (although we got a refund lol), and effort that it took to get all of these 59 Challenge Achievements and 31 regular achievements. Congrats to both of us!! and congrats to everyone that worked hard to get everything you got for this game!! Cheers!!

MathGuy42Wow! All 59 challenges! I only got 33, mainly due to paid workouts. But there were also a few 5 star challenges I just wasn't fit enough for. Great job.

That must have been one big refund credit from MS!
    Posted by MathGuy42 on 04 Mar 17 at 15:47
Elite Shadow 87A refund of almost about $400 worth for all the DLC that had Challenges over the course of the 3 years lol but yea all 59 Challenges, thank god!! Even though its sad they are shutting down Xbox Fitness, I'm just glad there's no more challenges! Although Xbox Fitness had awesome workouts, I prefer working out at the gym, rather than in front of my TV.

MathGuy42, that's totally understandable! I'm in athlete shape and I will admit, even I had a tough time on some on the challenges. Well, great job on the ones you did get and for your involvement in this Xbox Fitness Community on TA!! Thanks!

TheIrishBeastThank you Elite Shadow for all your work here. Truly was an awesome game and an expensive shut down for MS.
