This can be done in a slightly easier way, When you exit out of the game no matter what part of a chapter you were on when you continue from the main menu it puts you back at the start of whatever chapter you were on and also resets your characters build back to 3 lives and the standard sword. What I did was play until I got to my last heart of health, Quit out then returned to have my lives and health replenished. You do have to complete each chapter without losing all your lives which can be pretty tough but at least you don't have to finish the whole game without doing it. This method also unlocks the Siren achievement for a little bonus, Anyway I hope that helps anyone out!toast
Or use this Youtube vid which I take no credit for showing a no-death run collecting all secrets along the way, Beware this is the PC version and is slightly different to the X1 version

NBA KirklandArgh. Not working for me. I've done it twice now and no luck. I was sure to quit out to the menu when i got down to 1 heart and then continuing from the main menu at the beginning of the level. I wonder if they patched this out. No one has gotten it in over a month, but that is not conclusive.

bigsmok3rHmm, Not sure then man, It may be now be unobtainable to get the bad ending then because in order to get the bad ending I thought you just have to fail any one of the end-game objectives - With using a continue being one of them. There is some useful info over on the steam forums if I remember right, Telling you secrets and such and I'm sure there was something about the different endings. As I said though, the PC version is different so the info might be a bit off. Anyways good luck man, I wish I had the patience to finish it but dying right at the last part 5 or 6 times killed the fun for melaughtoast

NBA KirklandAccording to this post it won't work with the bad ending. So you have to get the 5 tears and complete all 8 levels. I will give it another shot this weekend.

For anyone who want to attempt this and is not sure it counts if you quit and select the ''continue'' option from the main menu: YES, IT COUNTS TOWARDS THE ACHIEVEMENT! I unlocked it and I can confirm, you can try as many times you want using this method. Quit out when you lose all your lives and select continue from the main menu, this will make you restart from the beginning of the current chapter you're on with the standard sword and 3 brand new lives. Now all you have to do is practice each level until you master all of them. Take your time and play carefully and you should be able to get this achievement eventually.

    Good luck!
