If you have someone to help you, this can be done in less than a day. You'll need 2 people, the leveler, and a dungeon master. The leveler should create characters with the background that gives 50% more experience when killing beasts, might be called gladiator (thanks to Cro11 for that tip). The DM goes into the options and turns on unlimited threat (required for this to work) and then creates a DM game (hard difficulty), invites the leveler, and starts the game. The DM then makes the dungeon, making the two monster types as beasts and undead. Leveler starts the dungeon.

(This paragraph was changed quite a bit thanks to RozDVents comment, feel free to scroll down and read it). The DM clears out all the rooms and the leveler should move near the exit. Now the DM should start placing a bunch of ikkuzus (undead) in every room and then change them all from hostile to friendly (select them, then select hostile and change it to friendly) and also promote them. Now summon giant spiders on top of them. Just mash A until the game slows down so much you are barely placing spiders because of lag. Then move to a different group of your ikkuzus, and spam giant spiders, and so on and so forth. The leveler will get experience even though he is just sitting there doing nothing.

The main problem is the bodies pile up and make the game lag pretty bad. I just spammed spiders at each spot until it lagged unbearably bad and then returned to camp, created another dungeon, and did it all over again.

Once I had it down I could level a character from 12 (just finished story) to 20 in less than an hour. Much faster than repeating the story or doing dungeon crawls "legit".

Note : The Warlock class doesn't seem to count for Dedicated, so I assume it wouldn't work for this either. I didn't try, didn't want to risk it.

RozDVents noted that your characters will all start at 20 if you level to 20 before doing the campaign. However, if you don't, your low level followers will continue to be low level if you make a hard playthrough, which can make the playthrough harder than it needs to be.
