First acquire the Exemplar Guardian and equip it. To parry you need to press the left stick towards your opponent right before the attack lands. It appears that parries done in multiplayer matches do not count toward the achievement.

Edit: If you are having trouble parrying, there is a variant to the Exemplar Guardian that will automatically parry for you. Thanks to JLogan27 and bobbybobinho for confirming.

WeezleramI just got a Perfect Killer Exemplar and it doesn't mention anything about automatically parrying so I don't think that is accurate. Unless they changed something in an update or if random bonuses are given to Guardians sometimes.

SEEPAGE ixThanks Weezleram, I'm going to take it out of the solution until I can confirm it myself.

bobbybobinhocan confirm that there is an auto parry variant. I suck at this game and was getting no-where with the normal parry. I got it from a common pack but unlocked the Top Percentage achievement when i got it. It has a 'KI' emblem on the card and makes life much easier!! (it's a green card if that helps)

WeezleramSince people are having issues, a decent strategy I've found is to use Jago (or Fulgore or anyone with a Dragon Punch move [forward - down - downforward + punch]). Knock someone down (usually with a throw), then get right next to them and do your DP. Since the first input is toward, you're already going for a parry. If they wake up with any attack (other than a throw), you'll parry it and then go straight into your DP (which will knock them right back down).

Higher ranked players will learn and won't fall for it, but lower rank people who just smash buttons as much as they can will get parried each time they get up.

WeezleramQuick update, I did play against someone today who had an Exemplar that auto-parried. I'm guessing some of them have this ability instead of big offense and defense boosts. Maybe it's only lower rarity ones that have it because the high regeneration of parries from more rare versions combined with auto-parry would be a bit OP.... almost as OP as Fractured Ward.

BigWiIIieStyIeI can confirm it appears the common green has the auto-parry ability. I don't have the blue to check it but below are the green stats.

Holds a total of 5 stacks

    Secondary Ability

ChucklestyleThe green/common one is the way to go, I had trouble doing these manually but equipped that one and got this without thinking thanks to the auto parry it has
