I unlocked this today when I completed the set "Flashback Jordan and Eric Staal", which can be found under Sets->Trading post.

Only six bronze collectibles are needed to complete the set.

CurtiesonFor us newbs, it is kind of unclear that you cant PULL a collectable from a pack. Could state that you have to trade in 10 items in the Trading post to get 1. (People playing the game in 2020 arent regulars, lol).

Set is stillthere, and there is a second one called "Flashback MacKinnon and Drouin" that is a 6 Bronze set too.

EDIT* - My brother unlocked this doing the Jordan Staal and Eric Staal Junior Flashback set. Frustrating, but seems to be confirmed in the other solution. All it takes is six bronze collectables (20k or less normally).

To unlock this, you need to wait until a set is out that includes a "Master Set". This generally means you have to unlock each indivual set included in the theme, and then use those collectables to form the master set.

However, this requires anywhere from 600k-1million coins. On the bright side, earlier issues have been fixed and this is now working on the last few sets. *Updated Jan. 20, 2017*

EpiphanyFartQuestion. Can people who have a master set just trade their set to somebody else? And then trade back?

Also, will 600 000 pucks be enough for this achievement?

DeeecoNah sets are wiped out once cashed in mate. I don't think 600000 will be enough but if you have that cash lying around it would be fairly easy to turn it into a million plus

AnxsighetyOnce you compete a set those items are gone - it isn't like the old NHL games.

600k probably isnt enough to finish 15 heroes. They've really dropped in price. Completing a set is now a loss pretty much across the board. You figure, even taking a 50k loss on each hero, you wouldn't have enough.

If you can start getting golds for 5000-5500k or carbons for 55-58k, I'd recommend doing that and waiting for the next big set. Flipping those cards is going to be a much faster and easier process than doing heroes at this point. And that way you only have to flip four total players.

I'll keep looking at what the sets are and give a rough estimate when they pop up.
