    Hi fellow witcher!

Since this is a main quest, you probably can't miss it much (remember to make it your "active quest"). Required level is 6, so still in the early game (depending on your skills and difficulty settings) but you have to fulfill a long list of quests and side-quests to unlock this. If you get lost in the process, head to your quest menu, check your main objective and come back on track!

The quest for this achievement starts after the quests "Bloody Baron" and "Ciri's Story: The King of the Wolves". To unlock the cheevo, you need to finish the following quests:

As for the mission itself, here is two detailled guides:

Hope this helps anyone out there!

    嘎嘎嘎glitch achievement, didn't get this

sorininfHey man. If you fulfilled all the necessary steps, only possibility is a glitch indeed. The game's description here on TA says: "This game is known to be buggy; achievement progress may not track, and/or achievements might not unlock at all."
I already had some cheevos pop a few days after actually unlocking it...

KlamdringThis is definitely glitched and could be a next-gen patch issue, since I play on Series X. I tried to finish the quest both ways: saving Anna and saving the children. Did not get the achievement either way. I don't care at all about losing 15 GS, but by missing this achievement the game kind of lies me that I did not complete one of the essential quests. THAT is annoying AF.
(edit: One thing comes to mind which I missed both times: I did not kill the werewolf near the oak, but instead went straight to the cave. It was not quest objective anyway, so I doubt it matters.)

"I got it to pop by deleting my local save and reloading an older save then replaying the whole questline from the start made the lubberkin and saved the tree and helped him get his family in the swamp"
"Ok, I think I figured out the determinative factor that affects the achievement.
When doing the Whispering Hillocks quest that is tied to Ladies of the Wood, you MUST free the spirit, otherwise the quest line leads to a different outcome and you won’t pop the achievement. (For context, once I did this, the achievement popped upon completing family matters, I didn’t even need to return to the bog to settle the ending)"
