    FaSCoRPWell, I got with my character to level 30 and then I had nothing to spend the carbon, so at some point of replaying the levels on hard I got it. If you move to the next class and begin from character level 1, you will probably have to use them to upgrade, so try to keep it when you are doing the hard playthrough

    rhollidayI can’t get this to unlock either. I have 2900 carbon, I competed the level I passed 2500 on, exited to the menu, ended and restarted the game, started another level, still nothing.

    I think looking through the guides so far it's common knowledge now that you have to have a total of 2500 carbon in your inventory at one time, but I haven't seen any grinding areas posted yet.

    I'm still somewhat early in the game so there may be better spots, but right now playing level 1-5 on Hard nets me around 500 - 520 carbon each run through, this is with killing enemies and getting the pickups strewn around.

    If I find any better spots or if you comment with a better spot, I'll edit the guide to show this!

    EDIT: You get the same amount even on Easy
