Figured I'd adds some tips and observations I've had about Glory Mode.

First of all, there are no hearts, anywhere, so you'll have to rely on potions and the saves points to refill health. Once you get the Healer Orb from the trade sidequest, that will help as well. If you are low on health, but have a lot of magic, that can save you from having to use a potion. There are usually rooms in dungeons that have barrels that are full of the blue orbs that refill your magic, that respawn each time you leave the room. So you can use those to max out both your health and magic if you feel like it. Save points will give you an infinite supply of magic as well to fully heal with the Orb. You take double damage, and dungeons no longer have maps, not that they were very useful in the first place. Enemies also will also always respawn when you leave each screen.

I'd say wear the Business Suit for a while, so you can buy all the outfits and have enough to keep buying lots of potions. The Business Suit will stop you from gathering yellow potion ingredients though, so you will want to take it off at some point. The Wizard Costume seems like a good bet as since enemies respawn each time you leave the screen in Glory Mode, which was a drawback this outfit had in the normal mode. But at the same time, you need to have at least 75% health for the lower magic use effect to work, though healing with the Healer Orb can easily bring you back up to 75% or over. I ended up using the Wizard Costume the rest of the game once I got it.

Level 3, The Pain Cave is where the difficulty really starts to spike up. The Fireball Spiders can do 12 points of damage to you, and they are in groups some of the time, and you'll only have around 40 health at that point. Had to leave Level 3 quite a few times to go back and buy more potions.

The Hero Orb you get from the Happy Candy Sidequest can be helpful in bossfights, and the rooms where you have to kill all the enemies to progress. It cuts the damage you take by half for maybe 20 seconds or so. It does cost 30 magic points to cast, but you can halve that by wearing the Wizard Costume. You can get the Hero Orb after Level 8, if you've be picking up all the Happy Candy at that point, as the last piece is found in Level 8. You only need to fight the first two bosses in the Crypt of Hatred to get the last couple Unknown Medallions, if you've collected everything outside in the overworld up to that point at least. Then you can go get the sixth Bracelet, and enter the Valor Dungeon to get the seventh. Once you have the seventh, your magic points will always be recharging, so you'll be able to use the Healer Orb a bit more

Other than that, make sure you explore the world again whenever you get a new overworld ability that lets you pass the specific obstacles, so you can get the new bracelets as soon as possible, being able to kill enemies faster will help you take less damage. As well getting more health and magic points and the ability to hold more potions. Glory Mode isn't actually that hard at all. I only died 7 times overall, only 6 more times than I died on normal mode.
