  * Federation and Klingon Empire players get this story arc. Romulan players get it also, but the arc is called Freedom.*
  
  There are 11 total missions(episodes) in the Federation version of the Romulan Mystery story arc. Many of them are given to you by Admiral T'Nae (Starbase 39-Sierra) after you report the previous completed mission to them. There are 6 total missions(episodes) in the Klingon Empire version.
  
  Most missions involve traveling to a part of space, doing battle with enemy ships in the area, then transporting to a location where you'll do some exploring and battling enemy personnel. Be sure to loot crates found in each area and to equip your mission reward gear and promotion skills as you get them.

  You can check your progress from the in-game menu by pressing and selecting Missions, then Mission Journal, then the Episodes tab, then select Romulan Mystery.

  It just unlocked for me and I'm playing Romulan....... no idea whats going on with that.

  Maybe I was wrong in my assumption that this wasn't in the whole Romulan Republic story. I hadn't started that story yet. I was just going by what the www.stoacademy.com site said from the PC version, hoping it carried to the Xbox One version.
  
  I started a Romulan character so I can research the Mission Journal, and the Romulan Mystery arc isn't part of the storyline.

  Just as a late reply, that's because some story arcs are called different things for different factions. For Romulans, you get this achievement upon completion of the Freedom Story Arc.

  Federation players now have to do Task Force Operations Romulan Mystery after Taris which is Azure Nebula Rescue in the list.
  
  I skipped it to begin with and just did the 11 missions, no unlock, then went back to the TFO and it unlocked.
  
  I had a job to join, it kept saying I declined and to wait again to join queue, then realised you need to go back into the TFO list and select accept.
