This is the first boss you will come to. You won't have too many options for weapons so just position yourself below the 2 small bricks in the middle so they can block a few shots. He has 2 attacks, one where he just shoots lots of standard bullets and another where he drops bombs. Just dodge his attacks and hit him when you can. He goes down pretty quick.
