So this achievement while it is a typical grinding achievement for Forza has been made a lot easier in Forza Horizon 3.
First of all, take note of the achievement description it says Complete and not Win, so you don't have to win all the championships just finish them, I tested this since to the best I could remember about my first few championships I never didn't win any so purposely didn't win the final one and still got the achievement just to make sure.
Each race route in the game has its own Championship and there are 63 in total, the map will indicate if you have or have not complete a championship from the certain route. Sometimes some of the routes will have their championships unavailable as either all the default championship routes haven't appeared yet (you get new routes/events whenever you level up a Festival Site) or you just haven't discovered them yet (undiscovered routes appear on the map as the coloured circles with a Question Mark (?) inside them), I'm not sure which of those or if both of those scenarios is the case, I didn't get to test this out before I thought of it.
Now onto the tips to make this a hell of a lot easier.
The default championships will have 3 to 5 or 6 events in them. However in Forza Horizon 3 they have introduced Blueprints which allows you to make your own events such as Bucket Lists, Exhibition Races and Championships, so taking advantage of this you create your own Championship Blueprints that can be a lot shorter then the default Championships, these do count towards the achievement and finishing a Championship at the route you create it at.
Championships do have a few restrictions, they need to include the route you started the Championship at and need a minimum of 3 races.
Other then those you can change whatever you want, type of cars, weather conditions and for circuit races the number of laps. I mostly used the Hyper Cars for road races and Extreme OffRoad for races that took place off the designated roads. (just get use to Keira saying the same thing over and over should you do this).
So now I have two recommended options:
If you do have the Fast Travel Anywhere Service perk unlocked from the Festival Boss Skill Shop
- Go to the starting route.
- Create your own Blueprint, select whatever series you like.
- Remove all other routes and add your two favourite circuit routes, set their lap counter to 1 and setup the weather/day conditions too your liking if you wish (make sure to do so on the default event as well), then start the Championship and fast travel wherever you need to go to next.
- The reason for doing 2 circuit races is that you can do most circuits in about 1 minute in a Hyper Cars event compared to most Point-to-Points that take around 3+ minutes so its just faster, I found 2 Circuit races at the Top of the Outback area of the map close together that I enjoyed so did a lot of 1 lap races around them and could travel between them quickly as well without Fast Travel.
- One draw back to consider is you get less XP/Credits/Fans for a 1 lap race then 3+ lap races.
If you do not have the Fast Travel Anywhere Service perk unlocked from the Festival Boss Skill Shop and want to start on this before you do as that park takes a lot of skill points to unlock, or just want to make the Championships events quicker to complete early on:
- Go to the starting route.
- Create your own Blueprint, select whatever series you like.
- Remove all other routes and then setup routes that start near the end points of your race so you spend less time traveling between events. Point-to-Point events will draw the route on the map if your unsure which point is the end of the race however they do normally start near the route starting circle you activate the event from (I don't remember any that don't) and circuit races start and finish near the route starting circle you activate the event from.
- Setup the weather/day conditions too your liking if you wish (make sure to do so on the default event as well), then start the Championship
One last thing to note, when you start a championship it will load up the first/default event straight away, but you can back out of this and go and start the championship at another event that makes up the championship, so if you don't have the Fast Travel Perk and have a circuit races nearby your Point-to-Point default races you can back out and do the circuit race first instead of racing half way across the map and having to come back and doing the circuit race.
Well that is a lot more than I was expecting to write, I hope I haven't missed anything or made anything unclear, let me know if you find anything unclear or have any suggestions on how this might be improved.
