The safest way to get this is to drive down the highway from the outback to the surfers paradise or vice versa whilst dodging traffic in the oncoming lane. Its also not too difficult when combining some burnouts, drifts 180s and sideswipes. Sideswipes are worth a good amount of points, you get them for drifting into obstacles like signs and lamp posts.

Nautius MaximusAll you need is a little over 8k skill points at x12 skill boost. By the time you get to x12 you'll already have a bigger chain than you need if you do this while a skill song is playing. You can easily do this buzzing around the brush in the outback.

    OK guys,
    Take this car, the tune.

DO NOT FORGET to change steering to normal, traction control off, and stability off.
Put on manual, 3rd gear, and stay in 3rd.

I cannot drift for saving my life, but got the 3 challenges very easily with that.

    Thank you

MrMetteHow do you "compete" in this challenge?
I just did a 180 000 points skill score with a '74 Toyota Celica GT and it didn't pop and I didn't get the reward.

    Edit:
Never mind, Forza Horizon always kills the popups I get from achievements (I don't know why). The only way to fix it is to reboot the console. Everything is still turned on in the options menu, but they just don't show.

If you are having trouble with driving in traffic like I do I accidentally stumbled upon a great way to get the 100,000 points easy.

What I personally did: I got the 2002 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-SPEC II and fully upgraded it to S2. I haven't tested it but I believe any all-wheel drive Japanese vehicle will work.

Head to the first barn discovery location (if you haven't gotten that far I detail it in the beginning of the video) and go to the fields directly to the east of that. Then simply do doughnuts/drifting/E-braking in the fields while trying to move from one end of the field to the other. You will get Wreckage, Wrecking Ball, and Sideswipe bonuses along with Air, Kangaroo, Crash Landing, Drift, E-Drift and Skill Chain bonuses. I messed up a few times and have some of my stuff upgraded to make my multiplier raise faster but this is how I originally did it. You just need to get 25,000 points at 4.0 or 20,000 at 5.0.

This is also how I got a bunch of extra points and have pretty much upgraded all my skill shop points as of right now.
