You'll want medium-long range firepower for this mission. I recommend the Stromer .223 if you have it available, as the high accuracy and damage make it one of the best weapons in the game. Bring a fast car like the De'Leo Traviata or something durable like the Armored Majesty.

Head to the lighthouse at the southernmost end of the Bayou and take out the handful of enemies. Kick down the door to the small house at the end of the dock. After the cutscene shoot all the bad guys that show up. Stay in cover and don't be afraid to engage at range with a rifle.

Alvarez says something about wanting to take his car but despite his insistence you don't have to. He didn't even lead me to it the first time and I only found his car because after I failed the mission and loaded the checkpoint it spawned me in the garage.

Regardless of your automotive decision, you'll notice a timer starts ticking down once you leave the lighthouse with Alvarez. On Medium difficulty you have 8 minutes to deliver Alvarez to Father James. (You may need to manually set a waypoint as it doesn't always set it for you)

This wouldn't be so difficult if it wasn't for the cars full of gangsters sent after you. The first two will come from both sides, one in front and one behind you. Later on you'll encounter a roadblock you'll need to navigate. Alvarez does return fire with his AK-47 but you may wish to stop your car and engage your pursuers on foot. This can be a risky tactic as there isn't much cover in the Bayou and I only really recommend it if you have a tire shot out.

Either way, only a finite amount of cars are sent after you and once they're dealt with you only need to drive to Father James' within the time limit. Remember that you can call in a fast car like the Traviata if you're left without a functional set of wheels at any point.
