First, an introduction:
There is no quick way to do the challenge missions. You have to do all 10 with all 9 sub-factions. It takes an average of 15 minutes (give or take) for each mission, so you're in for the long haul.

Kane's Challenge is similar to the Generals Challenge in Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour, if you played that. You pick one of 9 sub-factions (within 3 factions), and battle against all 9 of the sub-factions, with a 2v1 battle at the end.

Now for this particular sub-faction:
The Steel Talons are GDI but with the units from the second game in the series: Tiberian Sun.Here are the key differences:
- They don't use infantry. That means no snipers, zone troopers or commandos.
- Wolverines and Titans. You'll love em.
- RAILGUN ACCELERATOR!

The overall strategy is similar to that of GDI (Mammoth rush) but you don't really need base defenses. Wolverines obliterate infantry with ease (and you should have at least a few mammoth tanks before the enemy throws several vehicles at you) and build Slingshots to deal with any aircraft (I'd say 5 and 5 of each). Remember to get the Railgun upgrade from the Tech Center ($5000) to really deal some damage with your tanks.

The Railgun Accelerator makes one hell of a difference (firing speed goes up roughly 3X) but at a price: your tanks will lose about 50% of their health while active. Only use it if you think it'll speed up victory.

Of course, if the income is really coming in, build an Ion cannon and Space Command Uplink ($5000 and $3000, respectively), and bomb the crap out of your enemies and send in the tanks to finish them off. It really helps if you Ion Cannon the power plants, as they are always clustered together.
