First off, to make this achievement more manageable, I would recommend going into the settings and lowering the sensitivity to a level that works well for you.

Furthermore, I would HIGHLY suggest using the D-pad instead of the analog stick. Like most games on the compilation, I found the D-pad to be more controlled.

I unlocked the achievement on the 'double' stage. Before you start a game, you can press the 'X' button to change levels. 'Double' is the one with two paddles.

The level not only allows the player two paddles, but also spawns two balls as well (per life). This can help you knock out blocks quicker. Although it is beneficial to keep both balls going at a time, try not to focus too much on juggling them to the extent where you lose both. Always try to focus on keeping one alive first.

Obviously, you should always focus on hitting the ball with the upper paddle. In the event you miss (which happens a lot, even when it looks like you didn't) you will still have the lower paddle.

There are two main layers of bricks, green and brown. Each time you hit a green block, the speed of the ricochet will be relatively slow. When you reach the layer of brown blocks, hitting a brown block will greatly increase the speed of the ricochet. Keep in mind that balls can only speed up, never slow down (until you lose a life).

If you clear a spot in the top row and the ball travels past the top row, into the empty area above, your paddle will shrink to half its original size. On the plus side, the ball(s) will most likely bounce around the top of the area knocking out several blocks.

There are two general strategies when going for this achievement (taking into consideration that you have become efficient enough to have some manner of control to where you direct your shots):
1.) Focus on hitting one side at a time, creating a tunnel that goes straight to the top of the screen. Once you clear and opening and get the ball to the top, it will do some serious damage to the rest of the level. You will need to get used to playing with half sized paddles though.
2.) Try to hit all the blocks evenly. This way, you should be mostly done clearing the level by the time the ball reaches the top of the screen and shrinks your paddles.

It is a fairly straight forward achievement, but requires a decent amount of practice and familiarization with the trajectories. Again, customizing the sensitivity and using the D-pad makes this much more manageable.
