Missable in Mission 01: A Long Day in Dunwall

You can miss the Oppturourtiy to save the Journalist while you're on your way to the Dock in your first Mission. Before entering the Habor Area you can find the Dunwall Courier on the left Side. Move the top floor and kill the Guard and then speak with the Journalist to unlock this Achievement

If the printer hides but crouches in fear, move away and come back later; he should then be interact-able.

Gilbert PrimeIt's a good place to get The Lovers as well if you let the murder go through.

After the first little bit of the game, you will leave the tower, run down some rooftops and come to an open area with a few guards, deal with them and any others however you wish.

Go to the left, dealing with the guards, for only a short while and on the left there will be a door that you can go through, there will be two guards in this building that you will have to take out and the Printer will be on the top floor, talk to him and you will get this achievement.

LordSamoni1Just a bit of info, if you approach from the front the building you need is labelled 'Dunwall Courier'

Shadow XBLThe game seems to be touchy if you take the guard out nonlethal. The printer will just cower in the corner sometimes. Took me twice, and the second time he wouldn't speak to me for a minute and finally did.

If you're going for the Ghostly/Shadow achievements then you'll need to do a bit of trickery so that the journalist doesn't scream when you kill/knockout the guard, adding a sighting to your stats. After you take out the guard at the bottom of the stairs and place his body at the very bottom of the steps, head into the door he just came from, pick up the glass from the desk and go back to the stairs. Stay on the ground floor and look up so that your cross-hair is pointed at the ceiling of the top floor. (Save here) Toss the glass and it should alert the guard upstairs. Move around a bit to make some noise to further draw him down. Take him out when his back is turned then head upstairs to talk to the journalist. I already had the achievement when I tried this, so I'm not 100% certain it will work, please leave a comment if it does.

travelfulThe journalist won't be alerted and scream if you wait until the guard actually threatens to kill him, after that you have a small window to take out the guard and you won't be "spotted" by the journalist. It will only count as "spotted by enemy" if you just go in there and take out the guard before the convorsation turns sour.
