I would highly recommend researching the Engine Override skill under Vehicle Hacking in order to unlock boost for all vehicles.

Next, I would recommend grabbing a quick sports motorcycle. It's possible with fast sportscars or other bikes, but significantly easier with a sportsbike.

Then head to this location on the map, in the southwest area of the map. Line up at the end of the road near the park, and set a waypoint to the T-intersection. Boost towards the intersection, hitting the ramp as fast as possible and easily getting over 140m.

There is also a nice ramp by Colt Tower; just southeast of it on the small tight U-shaped road. Hitting this ramp at full speed should also easily generate a large jump.

Be warned. This glitched out for me and no matter what I did it would not unlock in my game... sooooo this is what I had to do. I had to delete ALL the save data for my game, local and cloud save data that means you'll lose all progress but luckily I had all other achievements. Doing this means you'll start the game all over. I then went and bought the Sayonara bike from the auto elite shop and did the jump (without boost) up in the hills on the West of the map. Not the jump in the city. Landed the jump and it popped.

If none of the suggested jumps work, complete all of the motocross races with dirt-bikes in them, at least one or two of the races have a jump that easily earns you the achievement. (Use the vehicle boost to make sure you make it, but you really don't need it ;).)

From all of the info I have collected, it seems that 3 random achievements from the game are glitched, I know this because if anyone has had glitched achievements, there are three random ones that don't work. My three glitched achievements are all missions, and I fully completed the game and even replayed all parts of each of the three missions. As of the time I am commenting, I haven't found one working fix. In relation to this specific achievement, if it does not work, it is possibly one of your 3 glitched achievements :(. (I am not 100% sure that there are exactly 3 glitched trophies, but again, every single post I have seen regarding glitched trophies mentions that they have three that won't pop.)

Before you start make sure you have unlocked the "Engine Override" hack for your vehicles. It gives you an important speed boost for the 140 meter jump.

This ramp (San Francisco North) is perfect for the 140 meter jump. It is a long straight road with a huge drop from a ramp. While the jump can probably be done with a performance car as well, i found it is a lot easier with a motorcycle. Look around the area and you should find one very easy.

Use the boost all the way from the bottom of the hill to the ramp and try to approach the ramp as straight as possible or you run the chance of crashing in one of the buildings.
