  Same here. Achievement didn't pop up after beating him up but simply showed up the next day on TA. Don't worry about it!

  Once he appears in a obligatory sequence, he’ll be available in the designed location. I’ve left him there the whole game and just after finishing it I went for this achievement. He’ll wait for you there.

  I knocked him out in the replay for Sequence 4 and the achievement isn’t unlocking. He also, isn’t respawning for me when I leave and even reload the game, maybe because I beat him up instead of killing him??? I’m lost at what to do here.

  This achievement is not available until Duccio has appeared in a cut scene in sequence 4. After that he can be found just south of the blacksmith which is the furthest to the west on the southern island. He will have a red target above his head.
  
  Remember to switch to fists so you don't accidentally kill him.

  I accidentally killed him, but he respawned as soon as I finished the mission. He even still had the red target, despite being far away from me, so I didn't have to search for him.

  Ok......out of the three solutions, you get my up-vote.....why? Your directions were easy to follow and didn't need a video.........

  The character Duccio will be introduced After Sequence 4 Memory 3. He will run off after you confront him. Afterwards, he will remain in the Constantine District. Once you spot him, there will be a red icon on the map. Likely, you will spot him without trying., just go into Constantine District and go to the Blacksmith shop in the North part. He is behind that building.
  Don't kill him, instead, equip your fists and beat him. If you "accidentally" killed him, don't worry, simply move away from the area and he'll respawn.
