Don't feel like running around a map for hours on end? Is Gladio's incessant need for running bringing you down? Do you have a rubber band laying around home? If so, perfect! Strap that bad boy on your joysticks and let Noct run Gladio's heart out on his own time! Just find an outpost that has a decent amount of space and watch 'em go! I let them do that while I slept (started at rank 3) and came back to rank 9! One more small session and Gladiolus will be the cardiovascular monster he so desires to be. Happy hunting!

Oh and a thanks to Sparkz1977 for reminding me that you need to use a Plug and play kit! Unfortunately running isn't enough activity to keep the controller on.

redjarmani set him to run in circles down near Vyv in Lestallum when i went to sleep. I woke up to find him over near the hotel. quite a journey just for running in circles lol

YaIrishMick96I only had 275k km travelled by foot. Kill me. This achievement and the boring fishing mini game are all I have left. I travelled via the car as much as possible as running around is so boring. Two terribly tedious achievements...

Go to "Verinas Mart - Ravatogh" outpost which is located on the very left of the map, near the volcano ( the road makes a circle here). The restaurant here sells a meal named Smoked Dualhorn Shank that gives you unlimited stamina boost.

The meal cost 4800 gil. Eat it and the dude with glasses may learn the recipe, so you can cook it by yourself. The ingredients are Behemoth Tenderloin, Hulldagh Nutmeg, and Smoking Wood. You can easily buy all of these ingredients in Lestallum market, buy as many as you like.

Now go to a camp site, make the meal and start your infinite sprinting. For all the method I've tested, it only matters how many steps you travel. There is no difference between running on the asphalt and the field. It counts the length of your rout, not the point to point straight distance.

So just run and run and run. Although you have unlimited stamina, it'll still take a lot of effort to level up from level 9 to level 10. Because this is boring enough, I ran around the world map to comfort myself this may be fun. Turns out it took me two "laps" around the world to level up from 9 to 10, spent about three real-life hours and youth.

Edit: If you have Royal Raiment outfit from Collector's or Deluxe edition, it gives you infinite stamina. Thanks to the comments by FrankCastle492 and Tuschi.

FrankCastle492The collectors edition nets you the Royal Raiment outfit which gives infinite stamina.

MagnetixSQLYou should post the route you took for those two laps.

TuschiJust wanted to add that if you wear the Royal Raiment from the deluxe edition without the jacket you can sprint forever anyway.

If you want to reach the maximum survival level you need to walk as nothing else would count toward it. However, you can have INFINITE SPRINTING which would make getting this easier. This solution here does not require you to have any expensive meal or to wait for our chief to learn a new recipe that would allow infinite sprinting. Here is how:

Enable Stamina from the Options menu, then use the cn_B to sprint MANUALLY and not by pressing the cn_LS for automatic sprint, then as shown in the video keep holding the cn_B button until the stamina bar reaches the "S" letter of the "ST" stamina bar HUD, then release the cn_B and Noct would flash green and dash a little distance and the stamina bar would refill INSTANTLY!

Chyld989You can also sprint by clicking in cn_LS and then at the same point you would release and reclick cn_B you can just click the stick in again.
