ZaccaThere are large stumps that you can chop to get hardwood they are around the place but those ones won't respawn there is also a forest with some of of these stumps and in there they respawn every day, it is down and to the left of your farm.

RealistIdealistYou can get hardwood by cutting stumps and large logs with a steel axe or better. Once all the hardwood is cleared from your farm you can get 12 pieces per day by going to the secret forest which is located south and northwest of your farm.

TrombonafideYou can also plant mahogany seeds. Once they are fully grown, mahogany trees drop hardwood.
