How to unlock the Mother Catch achievement

    Actions
    You will get your first bamboo fishing pole for free from Willy (it costs 500gold at his beach shop).

    How to fish:
    Face water with the pole selected, hold cn_X to start casting and then release at desired distance. When you get something to bite press cn_X to start the mini-game.
    The goal here is to keep the fish inside the green bar. You control it by tapping or holding cn_A. Same as with farming and mining etc, this is a skill you level up.
    Be aware some fish are harder then others to catch.

    This achievement counts everything you pull up as fish, even driftwood (which is what made it pop for me).

    thePoetPlaysHmm, on 104 according to the stats but this hasn't popped even after sleeping for a night.
    EDIT: Popped eventually and checked, I had got to 128 on the Xbox Stats page. But also, weirdly, the time played had gone up less than hour whilst I'd played it for about 4 hours so not sure what on earth is going on with the stats there. smile

    RCone138Alternatively, buy the training pole for 25 gold which makes it so much easier to catch basic fish.
