    Another fairly easy achievement to unlock and seems to be a little glitchy I unlocked this achievement with only 93 thousand damage and my friend got it a couple of games later with less than 80K

    Play a damage character is most important, the two generic damages the male and female champions on very top right of the selection screen put out high and consistent damage every game. I used Sha Lin because he is another high dps character

    Shoot shields and bubbles! Easy damage and easy to hit.

    Play conservatively if you die you can't do any damage for at least 15-20 seconds

    Saint XaphanIt is very possible it is combined as I know healing counts but as I said it is fairly glitchy so you may have gotten lucky. Whichever it is I cannot say for certain but if enough other people experience this I will playtest on my smurf to find out. :)

    RepairedSpace06I only got 62,000 with Lian to unlock. However, barely an hour later I happened to get 106,000 damage with Dredge, so I'll consider it an early unlock :)

    This works as of May 3, 2017, the first day of the Open Beta.

    An alternative to playing as a Damage class that netted me the achievement is playing as Pip, the Support class healer.

    Although the achievement description specifically reads "damage," healing points count towards the total in a match. The achievement popped for me shortly before the end of a match, where I finished at 55,372 damage points and 53,308 healing points, totaling 109,680 points.

    As of this posting, it's working, so give it a shot if you normally play Support classes like I do. I'll update if I find out a patch changes this later down the line.

    Update: June 30, 2017 -- BadTarantula was able to unlock this achievement with Grover, another Support healer, so this solution should work for all Support class characters.

    I found that trying to find players to play against is getting more difficult, so I'm playing in the Training.

    For this, I chose one of the big damage dealers, in my case Drogos as one of his choices is 35% extra missile damage, and with the hits being explosive, you can easily get kills without meaning to, although his missiles are slow(ish) and he only fires 6 before having to reload.

    Go into a Training/Seige game, it doesn't matter if you have AI or people on your team, but the enemy AI tend to be a bit dumb, so just fire away - keep on using his cn_LB and cn_LT attacks as well as his missiles, plus his special is an "insta-kill" as long as it hits.

    I got this and Hard Carry during the same game, just don't expect to get them during a TDM game, go either for the other 2 game types and keep on pounding away!

    At the end of the game I ended up with over 30 kills and somewhere around 200,000 damage!
