This achievement requires evolving 10 cards. You can evolve 10 of the same card name, but they have to be unique cards.

Evolving is done (currently) through the main menu: Deck|Evolve.

To evolve a card, you must have two copies of the card, both leveled up via the Deck|Enchant menu system to level 10. One of the two level 10 cards will be sacrificed and removed from your collection. The other will remain a level 10 card but will gain the capacity to be leveled up beyond 10. The new level cap is 20 currently. Additionally, the card will gain access to a new ability, albeit a poor one,l which it will start using when leveled to 15. These abilities can be further refined to better abilities through the "Shuffle" mechanic, but that's seperate from the evolution process.

So, to evolve 10 cards, you will need 20 card pairs (2 each of 10 different cards) all leveled to 10. Any card can be evolved, even 1-star cards, so that's the cheapest and fastest way to get just this achievement, but going for the other achievements you'll likely need or want to have evolved cards in specific 3-star cards at the lowest.

Whether or not to evolve a high-value card, such as your 5-stars, depends on whether the new card can replace the value of two level 10 and whether you have the enchanting resources to level it up quickly to accommodate that new power. Cards with Quick Strike abilities you really like, such as Prophet or Banshee are probably more valuable as independent level 10s while cards with combat abilities, particularly those based on percentages, are better to evolve more quickly.

Ultimately the best strategy will depend on your tastes and your luck in acquiring duplicates of good cards.
