At this point you should have most of the upgrades and people rescued. If not, use Bard to get the rest -- you'll have unlimited time to run around the zones looking for keys and diamonds.

Diamond Dealer Reloading:
If you buy an item from the diamond dealer, you can reload the stock if you go up and right in the lobby to the Bossmaster. Enter to "practice mini-bosses," then exit back to the Lobby. Now the diamond dealer will have all new items! If he doesn't have anything good, buy the cheapest thing (like an apple, even if you already bought one), and do the trick again. Also note that the stock stays the same if you go into a zone and come back -- so if you already bought a good weapon, and the diamond dealer has another good one (like a bow or crossbow), you might want to leave it there for the next run.

If you don't have enough diamonds (and you haven't bought anything good), switch to Bard, then play whatever zone you want (I usually use Zone 3). Bard is easy to play, and very fast at digging since you don't have to wait for the music. If you don't see any diamonds, restart until you see some. When you have enough in one run (you lose them if you restart), quit and switch back to Cadence, then load up on gear from the diamond dealer.

I really like piercing weapons for this zone, because there are a lot of armored enemies. I don't mind weapons that require reloading, but use whatever you like.

Boots are very good here -- there are a lot of "Goolems" (Ooze Golems) in zone 4, so Winged Boots, Explorer's Boots, or Lead Boots are VERY helpful.

Then all the standard stuff is good to have: monocle, compass, map, Telepathy Circlet (great if you don't have a map), etc. Normally I like the miner's cap, but you may want to avoid it here since it will break open extra rooms.

You should mostly avoid as many "rooms" and enemies as you can. If you know where the exit is, try to head there through the fewest rooms possible. Lead enemies back to open spaces to separate them from the pack, and kill them individually.

There are two new bosses you'll have to fight at the end of the zone. I recommend watching the videos first, and once the bosses are unlocked, practicing them. Keep in mind that the real fight will be slightly easier since you should have better weapons/items.

Dead Ringer: The strategy is the same no matter which side he spawns on, but you may have to "juggle" him around a bit more if he's on the right. You also may get unlucky with the enemy spawns, so kill them as needed. This is a "part 2" video I made after the one at the bottom of this guide, so you may want to watch that one first.

Necrodancer Boss: There are two phases. First you need to use the block/stage/walls to line up Cadence and her dad so they can step on the tile buttons simultaneously.

After a few rounds of that the Golden Lute will drop off the stage. Pick it up with Cadence, as that's the only way to damage Necrodancer. The lute deals Area of Effect damage on the tiles around Cadence when she moves -- do NOT walk into the enemies, just walk "next to" them to deal damage. The Necrodancer will shoot ice horizontally, and also drop a (huge, 5x5) bomb, so watch for his tells. Damage him when you can. I show two runs in my video below, with commentary. I've added some additional tips in the youtube description of the video, which you may want to read.
