How to unlock the Flyswatter achievement

    You'll get this over time as you're playing multiplayer, blitz, and skirmish, but if you want to boost it you just need to use these units against enemy air units.
    Also, if you're boosting with a friend in a private match, Strongholds where you leave one Stronghold uncaptured goes into Sudden Death and you have lots of time to do these achievements for specific kills. smile

    Sometimes if any other type of unit happens to hit your target, then it seems to cancel out the 'kill' for the purposes of this achievement. Sometimes it seems like you have to get the kill 100% with the anti-air unit.

    A Navy of DucksI changed my vote cause I got meat grinder from other guide. Guess I am spamming Wolverines.

    Shadow 00 Foxdance I'm considering taking out all the 'maybe' units from these solutions--I didn't use them, so wasn't sure if they might count, but it sounds like they definitely don't count at all.

    Easy way to do this solo, 1v1 against AI in Skirmish:

    Deathmatch
    9999 starting supplies and energy
    Fog of War off
    Beneficial skulls (Pain Train, Sugar Cookies, etc.)
    Heroic AI (I found that Easy and Normal AIs would tend to stop building units after a certain point)

    AI should be Isabel or Atriox. They tend to build more aircraft units than others (I didn't try vs. Cutter or Forge). Atriox tends to build Blisterbacks and Engineers, and Isabel tends to build Nightingales. I found Isabel to be the easiest I tried.

    At the beginning of the match, you'll want to take over all of the bases and energy totems on the map (leave maybe one or two closest to the AI) in order to corral and keep the AI in a corner.

    Build mostly Wolverines/Reavers to take down air units quickly before they can retreat. Build Cyclops/Hunters to protect the anti-air. Cyclops and Hunters can't attack air units, so you don't have to worry about them stealing kills. Upgrade everything as much as you can.

    Once you have the AI corralled, back off of their base to allow them to build units. When they have some air units built or they start to aggress, engage, kill all the air units, and retreat/allow them to retreat. Repeat until you get the achievement.

    If you have the colony this and the two similar ones can be done in one game (although it may take a while).

    Leader: Colony
    Map: Fort Jordan
    Difficulty: I used Normal but this may work on other difficulties as long as the AI doesn't get "smart" about it
    Enemy: I used random and got the colony which worked out for me but other leaders may work.

    Tactic: first of all grab all the bases except the furthest 2 from your starting map. Next earn leader points to unlock combat repair. Now all you need to do is set up each base with enough turrets to stay alive, post up some units om either slope of their base, and put either elite rangers (for the anti-infabtry achievement) or hunters (for anti-vehicle) in the garrisons of the teleport pad in front of your base (where the enemy will come out of. Also post up some Reavers there for the anti-air achievement.

    Now you can leave your game running and what SHOULD happen is that the enemy will just continuously funnel their infantry, vehicles, and air through their teleporter and into your meat grinder. And with the combat repair, on normal, you shouldn't lose any troops even if you walk away from your game for a couple hours. Also works for getting the hunter captain taunts as you can put him near the slope of their base and keep taunting enemy troops as they go by.
