You just have to complete a race, winning the race is
not mandatory.
And this must be done in a "Cobra".
I looked up in the autoshow and was able to find following cars...
Cars- 2000 FORD SVT Cobra R : 55,0000 CR
- 1995 FORD SVT Cobra R : 29,000 CR
- 1993 FORD SVT Cobra R : 28,000 CR
One I overlooked...
- 1978 Ford Mustang II King Cobra : 25,000 CR. Thanks
Throni360!
And for the more fortunate amongst you guys:
- 1965 SHELBY Cobra Daytona Coupe : 8,000,000 CR
- 1965 SHELBY Cobra 427 S/C : 2,1000,000 CR
The following cars do have a Snake/Cobra emblem on the car, but they seem to
not count towards this challenge (I tried with the GT350R to no success in unlocking the challenge)
- 2013 FORD Shelby GT : 115,000 CR
- 2016 SHELBY GT350R
If you don't want to spend the full money on the cars, you might want to check the Auction House. Maybe you can find a good bargain from a guy who already has done his challenges and no longer wants his car.
There's also 'payday' today. The devs reward you with Credits for your loyalty to the Forza series. The more games you have, and the more you have completed them, the more credits you'll be rewarded with.
RacesIn freeroam, challenging a drivatar into Head-to-Head race does
not count!
OfflineBesides of that, anything should work (solo):
- Exhibition Event
- Championship
- Street Races
- Midnight Races
Of course, you can "blueprint" the race to your own preferences.
Online- Car Meet Showdown (Drag Race) does work as well. Thanks to
ARainbowCubed for checking this out and confirming this!
I used the 2000 Ford SVT Cobra R and ended 2nd place on purpose to show you just need to complete and not win the race.
(Please note : the clips were recorded by Xbox One's Game DVR. Therefore, any eventual unlocking achievements appeared on my screen were not registered by the Game DVR)Thanks for voting thumbs up if the guide was useful.
Any suggestions to improve the guide are welcome.
Good luck!
