Challenge : Sewing Machine
Objective : Perform 10 Threading the Needle Skills
Reward : 50,000 CR
Timeframe : April 7th-10th 2017

Alright, you perform a Threading the Needle Skill when having a Near Miss on both left AND right sides and this in (very) quick succession, when passing cars/drivatars.
You could almost call it an "Instant Double-Balanced Near Miss Skill" if you want.

You can go in between 2 cars that are parallel next to each other, or make a slalom "S" between 2 cars.
It doesn't matter if you drive with the flow or with oncoming traffic.

Performing a Threading the Needle Skill, but losing your combo multiplier shortly after doesn't affect your progress on the challenge tracker. Meaning, you won't have to "bank" it to make it count.

Doing 10 of these skills will unlock the challenge and reward you with some Credits for your efforts.

Can be done anywhere, but I'd suggest to try this on the avenue in Surfers Paradise or at the Highway. Both are shown in the vids hereunder.

In theory, this can be done with any car, although I suggest putting some horsepower under the hood and get some speed.

Misc / Recap
- Skill : Threading Needle = Near Miss left and right in quick succession
- Requirement : only 10 of these
- Location : Anywhere, but Surfers Paradise and Highway are good places
- Combo : Losing combo is OK. No "banking" needed
- Car : Any car should be OK, but aim for higher class though.

And now, onto the vids, but a few words first...

- These clips were recorded as a No Commentary Tutorial.
- Everything you should know is already mentioned here.
- These vids are simply a visual aid to the written text.
- And of course, no in-game challenge unlocking since #Forzathon has yet to start in a couple of days.

Alright, time to practice a bit!

Clip 1 : Performing Threading the Needle Skills at Surfers Paradise
Car used : McLaren P1
Tune used : "GOLIATH" from WorkhorseSTi

Clip 2 : Performing Threading the Needle Skills on the Highway (both directions)
Car used : Aston Martin One-77
Tune used : "BEST CIRCUIT 224" from QuasiBiscuit857

Clip 3 : Again but slowly performing Threading the Needle Skills on both the Highway and at Surfers Paradise
Car used : Ferrari 512 Testa Rossa
Tune used : none / stock !

This clip was made, doing both locations over again, but at slower pace with a stock car A-class type so people could see when I get in between two cars (left/right) and the 'Threading the Needle' appearing shortly after on screen, as the previous two vids was at a higher pace and the effect wasn't clear, i.e. the 'Threading the Needle' text appeared on screen way after performing it because of the combo multiplier.
This resulted in a few negative votes already on YouTube laugh

(!!!) And don't forget...

As from this Friday April 7th is yet another 'payday'.
Or at least, that's how I like to call it.
You get Credits throughout several Forza games (Forza Motorsport & Forza Horizon) as a reward for your loyalty to the Forza series.
The more of these games you have played/completed, the higher the Tier you'll be, and thus the better the reward you'll get.
All you need to do, is load up the Forza Hub which is available as an App on the X1 or can be accessed throughout the in-game's menu.

If you see any mistakes, or feel this guide is incomplete, let me know please. I'll give you the credits for it.

Thanks for voting thumbs up if this guide was useful.
