Let me start by saying this will quickly become an enormous pain the butt if you make it to the end and have no idea which of the 18 mini games you have not failed in the "funniest" way. This guide is an attempt to let you know how to properly fail each mini game so you can avoid the same trouble I did. Learn from my mistakes! Any questions, or if you found another way to fail a mini game that counts toward the achievement, please let me know in the comments below so we can make this a comprehensive solution.

Note: I HIGHLY advise you to make some sort of checklist. When you think you've failed a mini game, make sure the achievement tracker went up, mark it down on your list and save yourself a lot of trouble.
First off, every new restaurant you unlock comes with its own mini game that will pop up during any date at any restaurant. So, you will have to have unlocked every restaurant to be able to try your hand at all of the mini games!

Secondly, it is possible to do "average" at a mini game. You need to straight up fail it for it to count toward this achievement. For example, if you pick two chocolates your date doesn't like but one that they do, or lose two out of three rounds of Rock Paper Scissors, YOU DID NOT FAIL! You need to fail all three rounds.

Third, I have figured out a reliable trick for retrying a mini game. It seems that the game predetermines what mini games you will encounter on your date before the date occurs. So, select a person for your client to go out with. Go on the date. If you encounter the mini game you need to fail, and you fail at failing it, quit out and reload the game. Select the same person for your client to go on the date with, choose a restaurant (doesn't have to be the same one) and you will find yourself on the exact same date and encounter the exact same mini games. This is helpful for some that are harder to fail due to luck, like the Chocolates game.

Now onto the mini games...

Dessert trolley: Don't just pick a dessert that your date is "meh" about, pick one that they hate. If they are a relaxed (yellow chair) type, pick them a healthy option like a Cheese Board, Fruit Salad or Tea. If they are active (yellow running stick figure), pick them a fatty option like a Vanilla Ice Cream or a Knickerbocker Glory.

Story Telling/Matching Game: Fail to make a match at the end of your three turns.

Tipping the Waiter: Figure out the correct tip. Then select the wrong one!

Appearance/What Changed?: Fail to properly identify what aspect of your date's appearance changed after they returned from the restroom.

Which Waiter?: Make a note of your waiter's appearance, then select the wrong person when prompted to select which waiter was yours.

Compliment the Chef: Fail to properly recite the string of compliments to the chef when he comes to your table to ask how dinner was.

Flatulence/Higher-Lower: This one I am a little uncertain about, but it is one of two ways, if not both. 1. Say it wasn't you, then get caught in the lie about it. 2. Say it WAS you when your date is an introvert (green thinking bubble icon) and they will be disgusted. If they are an extrovert, they will think your flatulence is hilarious and you won't fail.

Calling a Taxi: Improperly enter the taxi number until you fail the mini game.

The Ex: After your ex approaches you, say it was "someone else" and then get caught in the lie about it.

Pachinko/Splitting the bill: This did not count for me until I made my date pay the bill when they were a traditional type (purple train). It did not work when I paid the bill when they were a modern type (purple rocket ship), even though it did give me a red X. You can keep paying money to cheat and get more turns to arrive at the bill splitting option you want.

Locating Your Date in the Photo: Fail to find your date in the photo before the battery runs out. Just don't move the cursor at all until the time runs out, otherwise you risk accidentally finding them.

Flirting/Rock, Paper, Scissors: You need to lose all three rounds of this. I recommend cheating, which costs 20 coins each time. If you cheat, it reveals what your date will pick, so you can then select the thing you know loses to it. Rock beats scissors, scissors beats paper, paper beats rock! If you find the options scrolling by too fast, switch to an Easy restaurant and it will go slower, allowing you more time to pick the right (or wrong!) one.

Spider: If your date is an easygoing type (blue bird symbol), squish the spider and it will upset them. If they are an organized type (blue gears symbol), do not squish the spider and they will yell at you for not killing it.

Manager/Name Game: Be sure to make a note of your date's name before every date. When the manager approaches your table to say hello and asks your date's name, select one that you know is the wrong choice.

Power Outage/Finding Your Date in the Dark: Fail to properly identify your date's silhouette in the dark when the power goes out.

Selfie: Make sure both people look bad when you take the photo (making drooling faces, etc.)

Chocolates/Minesweeper: You need to select the chocolate your date hates for all three chocolates! Even two out of three will not count as a failure. This one is slightly luck-based because while you can gauge where they will be located on the second and third turn, your first selection is always straight-up luck. Cheating doesn't work here, because if you cheat, it will remove a chocolate your date hates from the playing field, which you don't want! Reference my earlier tip about reloading the game so you can reliably repeat the mini game until you get it. AB0MINAT10N also pointed out in the comments section that chocolates your date hates are more prevalent in more difficult restaurants, so opt for a Hard restaurant over an easy one if you're going for this.

How to play Minesweeper/the Chocolates game if you are unsure: When you select a chocolate, it gives you a red number and a green number. A green number is the number of chocolates your date loves that are in the immediate vicinity (touching the square with the numbers on it). Red numbers indicate the number of chocolates that your date hates in the immediate vicinity (touching that square), so these are what you are attempting to pick if you are trying to fail the mini game. And you want to avoid ones they love or find average at all cost (it doesn't give you a number for how many they find to be "meh" or just "okay"; so if you were to reveal a square and it gave you 0-0, it would mean they neither hate nor love any of the nearby chocolates.) To "fail" the mini game, you MUST have selected three your date hates. That's why there is some randomness to this; you have no idea where the ones they hate are until you select at least one chocolate and even then it'll be left to a bit of luck. And the first chocolate you select must be one they hate.

Deodorant/Perfume: Spray yourself with perfume for just a fraction of a second, or alternatively, spray yourself for so long that it's overpowering.
