*Requires you to be level 30*

Once you cross that level mark though you should be able to craft or find level 5 weapons for use. Once you craft or find a weapon of your choice just simply use it to kill an enemy. Pretty straight forward but make sure you kill doesn't get stolen like mine does in the video lol. Happy hunting!

TheIcemanComethJust in case it's not obvious (I wasn't sure), the Omni-blade does count for this achievement.

    Multiplayer Solution:

I haven't really played the campaign, but the other guides cover the single player choice to this achievement. I'll give a quick guide to attain it via the multiplayer method.

The best way to get leveled weapons in MP is to play matches and use the currency earned from said matches to buy the "Basic Pack" for 5000 multiplayer credits. You can earn 20k+ credits for one Silver match; 50k+ for completed Gold matches. Just keep buying these and you'll unlock weapons and characters to multiple levels. You do NOT need to spend real money on Andromeda Points to get level 'X' weapons. Once you have a level 'X' weapon, just make sure you equip it to unlock the achievement.
As a side note, the more weapons you unlock via the basic packs to level 'X', these weapons will not drop in the higher end packs later on should you choose to buy them.

I've been doing this since the beginning and have two level 'X' weapons and my character is only level 16. Obviously a little luck is involved in the process, but it's not as bad as one would think.

wolfzero01nice solution. I don't know if its necesary, but if you have a weapon equipped and get its level 10 variant, equip another weapon and then re-equip the level 10 weapon to get the achievement to unlock, at least that's what I had to do to get the achievement to unlock

As you progress through the game, you will accumulate points for researching different weapons. Once you have enough points in any one of the galaxies' sections of research, buy all five of any one weapon research pieces.

When you've done that, go to development, develop your level V weapon and equip it to your load out. When you go on your next mission to whatever, simply draw the weapon and kill something with it. Your achievement will then pop.

Note: this is for the single player method. If someone would like to add a guide regarding the multi-player way of achieving this, please do so. Happy hunting!

iceblu26I got lucky and found a level 5 omni-blade in a container somewhere (don't remember where). I thought nothing of it, equipped it, and achievement unlocked when I killed an enemy with it. So confirming melee weapons also work.

Edited to say: I'm finding level 5 guns in containers now, too (I'm currently level 34).

Calex dEUSNot sure if this is for all weapons, but certainly any I've tried to develop require you to be level 30 to use. Might be worth adding to the guide.

KD9 37^ same as above. Id at least add that you're going to need to be at least level 30 to get this.
