  Fairly straight forward, shoot the

  *** Spoiler - click to reveal ***Wendingo at the end of the game

  with the rifle.
  The easiest place is at the train station before jumping on the boat, as he breaks through the gate.

  Thanks for the comment. It popped today after the update from the developers that fixed the broken chess game achievement. Might be a coincidence, might not.

  Yeah this worked well for me. I completed the game without firing any shots, then loaded my save file, which was right after you block the Wendigo from coming through the narrow path. After that, I ran down to the train station, then walked up to him after he knocks down the fence and shot at him a couple times. Then the achievement unlocked.

  I did the 1000G in one playthrough using the cloud save manipulation. for the flare shot and then the rifle shot at the end, shoot and then quickly go delete your save from the console.(make sure to save at a checkpoint before attempting this, dashboard the game, wait 5 minutes then get in the game and attempt the shots) if you have no idea what this is shoot me a message

  You can shoot the Wendigo when you take control after the last cutscene. Then feel free to reload the last checkpoint so as to not void this achievement:
  
  

  The Firearms Registry achievement in Kona worth 276 pointsComplete the game without firing any firearms shot.

  
  
  FYI: The hatchet works wonders on the ghost dogs at the end, takes them out with two hits.
  
  Also FYI: When I tried this the first time, my gun would not fire. I reloaded the game after the last scene, reloaded an earlier checkpoint, made sure the gun fired (I'd finished the no-gun by then), then went to the end and shot the Wendigo. Achievement unlocked!

  There's no need to kill any ghost wolf during the end game...you can simply run and avoid them

  I did a slight variation where I completed the game without shooting then loaded the last save.
  
  It spawns you at the train station so you can just walk up to the Wendigo after it bursts through the fence and shoot it for the achievement, and also shoot your flaregun for that achievement.
