The Mining Station Alpha challenge is the only one that is unlocked by default, so it's probably the one you'll unlock this achievement on. I did a speedrun of this challenge that took me 26 minutes in realtime and 8.2 days in game time. The video below, from my Xbox One DVR, has the first ten minues. That's when all the important stuff is done, so hopefully, it will help.



Here's what I built, in order. Everything is the smallest size, except where noted. "Size 2" means the second size up, and "size 3" means the third size up:
airlock
large solar panel (size 2)
medium power collector (size 2)
water extractor
small power collector (size 1)
landing pad
oxygen generator
very large storage (size 3)
airlock #2 and mine #1
airlock #3 and mine #2
bio dome
tomato, onion, rice, and mushroom pods
canteen
drinking fountain, small table, meal maker
dorm with 1 bed
medium solar panel (size 1)
connector between storage and canteen
decorative plant and video screen

The storage room is the hub for the other interior facilities.

Here are some more tips, which you'll see in the video:
1. Recycle the colony ship ASAP. That makes it quicker to get to all the materials.
2. Spares aren't needed, which is why I sell most of them right off the bat. On the other hand, if you don't keep any, it will constantly notify you about not having any, so I try to keep a couple just to minimize the pop-ups.
3. The trading ships carry a limited number of coins. When you've exceeded the limit, the amount you're receiving turns from white to yellow. Keep it white, or else you're just giving the trader free stuff.
4. Sell the 2 semiconductors in your inventory as soon as you get a chance. Sell the meals from the colony ship. Once your meal maker is built, sell all the vegetables you have. The meal maker has enough for your immediate needs. Do not worry about food; you'll have plenty. Sell all your starch.
5. In the beginning, you'll have to watch your power consumption at night. You can last the whole night without the oxygen generator. Disable the landing pad if you have to. Keep the mines and airlocks running! Once you get the second solar panel built, you won't have to worry about power anymore.
6. Buy a 6th driller bot as soon as you can. Also buy 5 metal and 2 plastic as soon as you can. When things settle down, buy an additional 1 metal and 3 plastic to finish your base.
7. You're going to buy a carrier bot with the money you're making from the trading ships.
8. Once you have the above facilities and components built, the 6th driller bot, and the extra carrier bot, you can just fast forward until the goal has been reached. You can disable the landing pad if you don't want to mess with the trader ships.

The video cuts off on day 2.6. If it had continued, you would have seen me finish the connector and install the plant and video screen. I bought a carrier bot on day 3.9 and more or less just waited for the 100 ores after that.
