How to unlock the Prism Master achievement

There are a total of 6 different Starbender Cycle Series books to find in Prey. The first five books have more than one location, but for the sake of time, I show one of each. The sixth book can only be found in Alex Yu's suite.

None of them are missable and once you can access the crew quarters and cargo hold, you can pretty much get all of them. Reading them all will unlock the "Prism Master" trophy/achievement. You can check which ones you have read by going to the "Notes" section of the "Data" menu.

    Timeline:

[0:05] Book 1: The Darkstar Anomaly
    [0:45] Book 2: My Enemy's Enemy's Enemy
    [2:21] Book 3: Spatial Delivery
[3:25] Book 4: Backstabbed in the Face
[4:34] Book 5: Crown of Tumbleweed
    [5:32] Book 6: Darkstar Rising

Gilbert PrimeDespite what the guide says, this is correctly tagged as Missable because the Crew Quarters and Book 6 become unavailable after you complete The Keys to the Kingdom and the giant alien attacks the station.

If you, like me, don't like using videos, and want a simple text/image solution, I have you covered!! Most of the books can easily be found in the Crew Cabins, which you will need to go to anyways as part of the story, so I suggest speeding through the game if you just want to clean up a few achievements until you get here, as 5 of the 6 books can be found here, and the other comes shortly after finishing this area.

    Book 1 - Danielle Sho's cabin

Book 2 - Can also be found in Jada Mark's cabin, if you're following the "Golden Gun" mission, otherwise I found it in the Magnetosphere Control Room

    Book 3 - Abigail Foy's cabin

Book 4 - William Mitchell's cabin (when you enter the Crew Cabins, you will be given the mission "The Cook's Request", follow this until you gain access to his cabin)

Book 5 - In the shuttle outside Talos, surrounded by Coral

Book 6 - ONLY found in Alex's suite, you must get the safe code from December (it was already destroyed, as I never followed that mission, but the remains of December can be found in the Nueromod Division), then you must access his safe, which is in his OFFICE (Arboretum). This can be accessed with either the Leverage II skill, or by waiting until you must view a video in his OFFICE and breaking the glass screen.

This is a guide to fully complete the game Prey. I will be showing you how to obtain all of the game's achievements and trophies, including the collectibles for: Press Sneak, Missing Persons, Psychometry, Dear Future Self, Black Market, and TranStar Gourmand. I'll also show you how to save and kill everyone (in separate playthroughs of course) for I and It, Do No Harm, and I and Thou. In the first playthrough, I'll be showing you all of the collectibles, all miscellaneous achievements, and completing the game with no kills and in the "most empathetic" way as well as using no Neuromods for the No Needles achievement/trophy.

Afterward, I will show you where to find all of the crewmates on your second playthrough and how best to kill them for I and It and Awkward Ride Home.

**Note that for Split Affinity, you will need to reload at the end of your first playthrough and use one Typhon neuromod, then complete the last few seconds again to get that to count as your first playthrough. Then, complete your second playthrough in a new campaign slot, and make sure that you only use human neuromods throughout that playthrough.

For the I and It playthrough, be sure to keep saves outside of major areas so that you can reload if any NPCs die without you having personally killed them. There will be 42 people you need to kill, so keep checking your tracker to make sure that the count adds up.
