  Easiest way to do this by far from what I know is by playing Forest Level 6. Takes roughly 30-45 minutes to get to lvl 90 with a lvl 1 character. Theirs a weapon that shoots three arc looking shapes and even though the level is meant for higher level players using this weapon almost insta kills even the big guy. If you have any questions feel free to message me.
  
  Edit: "I found that if you use multiple controllers (for instance, boosting revives) with multiple characters, they can level up as well. For instance, p1 is a level 39, p2 is a level 34 and p3 is a level 33. If you use the level 39 and level up to 90, the other players will level up slightly just by being idle. Might make it slightly less of a grind." Thank you capicawl for finding this out.

  Just got everyone to 90 and the achievement is failing to pop (still at 99%). I've unlocked a few other achievements in the meantime...

  Mines been stuck at 96% for 3 days. Still seems glitched, hope I don’t have to replay.

  Start of by selecting the character you want to level up and pick 'Forest Level 6'. Then when in the level aim to get the power-up which shoots 3 shots from front and back which will kill most enemies in one or two shots. If possible try to get the 'Green Force' orb which further increases the amount of shots you fire.
  
  If you start off at Level 1 then you will die very quickly but you do start off with a shield that lasts 10 seconds which kills enemies if they touch you so spend this time looking for the required power-ups.
  
  Once you get your character to higher levels they will last longer being able to get more kills in a single run (the horde is set to 350 kills before you finish the level).
  
  If you have a further 2-4 controllers then plug them in and assign a character to them. Due to a glitch any levels or kills gained by Player 1 will also be gained by the idle characters. So this means that if Player 1 where to get 200 kills with 3 idle players on the map it will add 800 kills to the achievement tracker.
