After completing the games campaign, you will unlock a SPECIAL chapter which is you playing as Devil Kazuya against Akuma. Akuma can be difficult if you arent patient so DO NOT get greedy or he will clown you. Try to keep a close distance and dodge left and right when he throws his fireballs. cn_LBcn_A is a usefull strat but dont spam too much or you can get punished. ALSO VERY IMPORTANT WHEN YOU GET HIS HEALTH DOWN IT WILL SHOW YOU AND AKUMA POWER UP. AS SOON AS THAT TINY SEQUENCE IS OVER SPAM cn_RB AND FINISH HIM OFF OR HE WILL USE HIS RAGE ART AND DECIMATE YOU REGARDLESS TO HOW MUCH HP YOU HAVE LEFT RESULTING IN A "YOU LOSE" BROKEN HEART. Happy hunting!

TymanTheLongThank you, read your solution and that plus X,X,X,XX was the ticket. A little mix up helps more hits to land. Was so frustrated by this guy as he just whirlwinds 10 times and then launches unblockable attacks.

And yeah it counts on Easy/1 star. Try and keep your distance if possible, LB+A can be used if he’s close to fly past him and land at medium range.

SoulKatanaThis one was buggy for me. I beat Akuma 2x on "Normal" and got no achievement. I restarted the game and beat him a 3rd time but on "Easy" and it finally popped! I hate this game!

You Unlock the "Special Chapter" after you beat the Story Mode. You have to Face Akuma as Devil Jin.
Akuma can be hard to Defeat. However, it's much easier if you know how to Drop Kick.
Press cn_LB+cn_A to Drop Kick. This makes it easy to defeat Akuma. Each drop kick takes about 15% Damage.
    **IMPORTANT**
Once Akuma's Life is Depleated, he will Trigger his Rage Art. This will One-Hit-Kill you unless you execute your Rage Art to Counter it. To do this, Simply press cn_RB to execute your Rage art. (Spam it once Akuma's Rage Art Cut-Scene starts)

Once you finish the main story mode, you unlock this final chapter.

Before you begin, I highly recommend setting a button to LK+HK, because this is going to be the main command you'll be spamming.

The easiest way to win this is to constantly go for the LK+HK command called "Devil Blaster" from as far away as possible and to hit the command a second time in the air to hit "Reverse Devil Blaster" whenever Akuma gets to about mid-range or closer. This move does enough damage that, even if you miss it often, Akuma's health won't restore enough to nullify the damage over time.

Most of the time, the regular Devil Blaster will miss, but it has advantages:

    - If you go for it from full screen and Akuma tries a fireball or especially a triple fireball, you'll jump over it and guarantee a hit

    - Akuma will try to side-step it and be too far away to gain ground, so he won't get up close with one full-screen miss

    - Occasionally, Akuma will try to move in too early, get hit, and knocked back full-screen, so you can repeat the process.

When he gets to mid-range or closer, or if you see him winding up a charged attack, use the Reverse Devil Blaster:

    - This will create a lot of space and, usually, Akuma won't punish you too badly if he catches up

    - If your attempt for regular Devil Blaster isn't aligned to hit, the Reverse will realign for a clean shot, which is vital because...

    - ...Akuma will usually try to land a powerful blow that keeps himself standing still or moving forward when he gets closer; if you trigger the Reverse, you'll avoid the attack and it'll take too long for Akuma to recover, virtually guaranteeing a hit.

If you need to create space, hitting back + LK+HK quickly teleports you backward, away from most of Akuma's attacks, and quickly getting you back at the full-screen distance to reset your attacks. This is also useful once landing from a missed Devil Blaster because Akuma will likely try a big, long strike, and you can usually avoid them by immediately teleporting backward.

Repeat these three steps as needed and you'll get him to the final part relatively easily once you learn Akuma's main attacks. I tried for nearly an hour to do what the other guides said to little success. Once I learned this formula, I beat him on the second attempt trying it.

A mid-match cutscene will play indicating when Akuma's about to launch his final attack, which can only be beaten with a Rage Art. Hit it just as he gets within kicking range, and you'll win the fight and get the achievement.

If you use this Devil Blaster + distance technique, you'll usually be more than far enough away to easily time your rage art to end the fight, and very rarely did Akuma try to hit his rage art earlier in the fight when I used this technique.
