I had every other achievement and was getting kind of bored hoping elites spawn while doing bounties, so I was looking for a better way, and I found one in a reddit thread here so credit to reddit user "oddisy" for it.

    Basically here's how it works.

    1. Start up adventure mode normal difficulty in act 2.
    2. Use the waypoint for archives of zultun kulle.
    3. Go northeast a screen or 2 to find the teleport to the boss battle.
    4. Command your skeletons to kill them all. At level 70 I can kill them all in 10-20 seconds. If you're properly geared it would probably be even faster.
    5. Quit and choose continue to respawn kulle and slaughter his annoying ass again.
    6. Repeat until you have 500.

I found I got achievement credit even if I didn't command the skeletons to attack, but if you have the frenzy rune they attack faster when you command them. Finally, make sure you don't have any thorns. Kulle especially LOVES attacking you, so thorns can potentially take the kill from your skeletons. You can use blood rush to get there a tiny bit faster if you like, too.

Jmarc736in the event gamers are wondering, the silver border enemies do count towards the xbox tracker.

GrakusggYou should really just do Rifts. I got between 5-8% per rift letting my skellies kill everything. Took roughly 2 hours.

I tried Zultan Kull - and it was VERY slow and boring.

I tried focusing on Cursed Shrine bounties with bracers to spawn champions... this was better than Zultan - but not as good as just using rifts.

I resorted to just doing rifts, and it worked pretty quick.

FosterJag15I agree with Grakusgg, rifts are the way to go. I wasn't getting quite that much, but still was getting 1-4% per run, and the runs themselves are pretty quick.

This achievement has been fixed and now unlocks normally by killing 500 elite enemies with command skeletons.

I believe you do not have to use the ability to kill them directly but as long as they take the final blow on the elites the kill should count. But to be sure try using the ability to kill them either way.

    Obtaining kills with command skeletons

When it comes to gaining kills with the command Skeletons you are able to use the Y ability and target any elite enemy directly. I recommend either frenzy or Enforcer Rune. I do not recommend using Curses unless you still need the 5000 curse kills, because that one seems to affect the progress.

Lastly if you want to kill enemies faster you can increase your Skeletons damage with either finding the attribute for Shoulders and Chest Armor which go up to 15% each.

Lastly I recommend filling all socketed items (except helmet and weapon) with Topaz's which increase your intelligence. Heres the list of how many sockets each thing can have:

    Chest Armor: 3
    Helmet: 1
    Amulet: 1
    Shield/Phylactery: 1
    Both rings: 1 each
    Pants: 2

    Good luck and have fun.

an Evil GoatIf you're using the Frailty Curse, especially the aura rune since it's passive, you're killing every enemy near you with the Curse when they drop below 15% health. The skeletons can't get the kills that way. Use a different Curse.

Rodrigo TakedaInfelizmente, a conquista continua bugada, e não desbloqueou pra mim. Finalizei o desafio, e meu rastreador parou em 99% e não abriu a conquista.

If like me you spent most of your playthrough to level 70 going for Curse Your Enthusiasm and What Is Dead Can Sometimes Die, the best way to get this post-game is to go to Adventure Mode and run through the Bounties.

Many of them are "Kill X" where X will be a named boss which will count towards the achievement, but even the others will have you run into packs of Elites. The higher the difficulty the more Elites you'll encounter, I personally set it to Torment 1 which gave a nice balance between Elite spawns and time to kill them.

I came out of the campaign with about 5% progress, and it took me about ten complete runs (Act I - V) of doing all the Bounties to get this achievement. Bit of a grind but at least you might pick up some cool loot along the way.
