    This achievement counts both goals and assists, but unfortunately it only counts them in real Online matches and not private ones. That being said, this should come naturally as you play the game. Since it counts assists as well, you don't need to be that skilled to unlock it.

    A goal is obviously when you make it into the opponents goal (your own don't count!), and an assist is when you touch the ball in some way right before a teammate makes a goal. There's no real way to boost this and no trick to doing it; just keep playing matches and trying to score. It's that simple.

    Side note: It does not retroactively count goals and assists, meaning you have to get 30 as of this update to unlock the achievement. Your previous stats are not counted at all.

    KillrNutI recommend 1v1 competitive if you've never played competitive before. This prevents you from getting matched up with a godmode type player. In the casual playlist I got matched up with a guy with master rank and lost 11-1. But in pretty much every game other than that I was getting from 3-5 goals a game. Even if you mega suck you should at least luck into one or two a game.

    adamrulzI just started this a little bit ago and it’s tracking fine... I’m at 60% playing normal 3v3... just can’t get celebration done or whatever I need!!

    Just a quick note/warning about this achievement:
    It seems as if some people are having an issue with the achievement locking up at 30%, hence making it unobtainable for them. I'm assuming this will be patched later on but be warned.

    As stated in the description, all you need to do is score or assist in 30 goals. This does not have to be done in one game and it has to be done in any online matchmaking game (this includes specialty games such as Hoops and Dropshot). I personally recommend solo 1v1 games as you usually get 5 or more goals a game.

    For the majority of you who have already completed this prior to the update, you do have to score/assist 30 more goals as any previous progress does not count.

    allstar738It unstuck for me once I viewed the Achievement on xbox.com. I'm not sure if that will work for all but it's worth a try.

    allstar738Stevo6483, have you tried viewing the achievement on Xbox.com? That trick sometimes works. If it doesn't, you'll probably have to wait a bit for Psyonix to fix it. There have been multiple glitched achievements in Rocket League in the past but Psyonix has done a pretty good job of fixing them.

    As the achievement states, this must be done in either casual or competitive. If you still need to do the placement matches achievement then you should start in 1 vs 1 or 2 vs 2 competetitive. However if you still need the achievement after that, the easiest way I found to do it was to play 1 vs 1 Casual as people don't try as hard in this compared to competitive, you can easily take it past other players and the players generally seem less experienced.
