I used; https://slimerancher.fandom.com/wiki/Gilded_Ginger/Locations for the locations of gilded gingers. When you are near one you should hear a jingling noise.

Bruh, im not gonna be able to get this achievement cause of the ornaments... this game leaves this Friday and party gordo only spawns on Friday :<

My achievement seems glitched. I got the achievement in game but hasn't popped for me.

For most players, getting the Gilded Ginger might be the hardest part and the last item missing to complete the Slimepedia.
A kLuTz KiCkEr does a great job in listing all entries of the slimepedia. Refer to his solution if you're missing anything besides the Gilded Ginger.

After a bit of trial and a lot of frustration with simply running around searching everywhere in the glass desert for days I decided to try a more methodical approach to force spawn the Gilded Ginger at an easily accessible location:

Things to prepare:
- 25 Silver Parsnips
- A Teleporter of any color
- Jetpack, Energy upgrades help

To get the Gilded Ginger, you then need to:
1. Place the first teleporter piece as close to the farm house door as possible
2. Get to the Mosaic Gordo in the Glass Desert. Directly up on its little "balcony" there's a gadget place. Put the second teleporter piece there.
3. Feed the Mosaic Gordo with the Parsnips you brought until it bursts and reveals a little tunnel.
4. Check the Ginger spawn locations in the little secret area behind the Gordo:
- Directly right after the tunnel, there are a few stones lying around.
- Follow the legde until its turning point/end. On the lowest platform is another possible spawn location.
- in the little alcove you can see from the platform where the previous spawn point is. This alcove is directly beneath the starting point after the tunnel. Jetpack over there or jump down from the starting point.
5. No Gilded Ginger? Jump into the Sand Sea to quickly respawn/pass the time.
6. Teleport back, repeat from 4.

Be patient, it took me around 40 in-game days to get the Gilded Ginger to spawn, but it really saves the hassle of running around aimlessly. Also, you should only be doing this if it's the last thing you want to do or don't care about your slimes as you won't have the time to feed or harvest while doing this.

This isn't working for me either sadly. Spent over 70 days trying this!

Edit: I eventually found one after just walking around aimlessly. I guess its just luck!

Feeling more than a little lucky (which I'm unaccustomed to), as I found it, immediately after placing the 2nd teleporter on the platform where the Gordo had been -- spot #59, the first of the five possible places under the heading, "Behind the Mosaic Gordo," on the wiki's page: https://slimerancher.wikia.com/wiki/Gilded_Ginger/Locations -- thanks for the guide!

I marked 6 spots near the Gordo where the gilded ginger could be with a piece of glass shard. My thought was to just check those six, die, rinse and repeat so I wouldn't have to check every spot and increase chances of finding one. I found one on my third try!

For those needing the Gilded Ginger, here is what it looks like in the ground.

It also had some sparkly animation around the edges to make it slightly more visible.

It appears in the Glass Desert once per day in a random location. I was able to easily find the ginger in-game days in a row by running around the desert. Took essentially an entire in game day to find one.

Apparently there's a "glitch slime" in the slimepedia. Is this needed? I'm confused because nothing actually says how to get one..

Edit: I didn't have the lab upgrade yet, after I did, I did a trade with Viktor and unlocked the area. Also, for nimble valley you have to own the grotto as well (I'm saying this because I never unlocked the grotto until I guessed I needed it to get to nimble valley)
